'Dream Match-Up's' Dev Team + Franchise

I was pretty blazed one day and back in 07 or 08 and the idea of Team Ico doing a Samurai Jack game blew my friggin mind. Obviously that was when people still believed in that team but I still think that would be an incredible combination. Their attention to detail, environmental ambiance and deft minimalistic style seemed perfect for a Jack game and I had to tell everyone I knew at the time.

More recently, while replaying Ninja Theory's Devil May Cry I thought, "Shit, these guys would make one HELL of a Spider-Man game."

This is all quite disappointing.

Atlus and Earthbound, or Persona and the people behind the Mother series (I don't know whether to put down Nintendo, Brownie Brown. Creatures Inc. or HAL Laboratory ._.). I have no fucking idea why I think that any of those two would actually work, but still, at least it'd make for an interesting game

Remedy creating the sequel to Eternal Darkness

Team Ico doing the next Legend of Zelda

Telltale + Mass Effect.

But really I just want Telltale to do some kind of space scifi.

Obsidian and BioWare collaborating on a Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy game.

Platinum and...pretty much anything

Naughty Dog working on virtually any story-driven franchise would be welcome news, but I would really enjoy seeing their take on Mass Effect. I feel like Naughty Dog is more restrained and a little more tactful than modern Bioware, and while silly/fantastical Mass Effect is great, serious/grounded Mass Effect would be equally interesting.

Remake the old Westwood studio and let them make a new Command and Conquer game.

Replace Blood Angel with Eldar or Dark Eldar as they would be much more of an agile flipping around character like the dude from Vanquish.

Plus Space Marines can do some shit man. Some. Shit. These people have no idea. Each one is practically a demigod compared to mortal men. One of my favorite things Jim Sterling ever wrote was a small, light hearted article before 'Warhammer 40K: Space Marine' came out which was 'why a space marine would crush your favorite video game hero.' Because they really would. It was clearly written out of a love for the fluff of 40K and it really made me smile.

Shinji Mikami and Hideaki Kamiya together to make a Resident Evil again. RE2 turned out really well from that cooperation. And I agree, Platinum doing Eldar\Dark Eldar W40k game would be AWESOME.
