Handling was horrible and I am desperately trying to like because I'm a Driver fan, I even liked Driv3r and that was pure shit.
Also seeing the coma thing and the story around it in practice turned me off. Plus it seems like a cop out (pardon the pun). You catch Jericho is coma world, game ends, sets up a sequel where you catch him for reals.
Except there won't be a sequel because people don't give a shit about Driver no matter how much I rant that just because Driv3r was a buggy mess doesn't mean it wasn't fun to play, in an ironic way.
It gets cancelled out by the poor driving. I mean come on, for a game that's all about fast pace driving, they really made it hard to do so. Hell, LA Noire had better controls than this.
I had zero interest in it, played the demo, thought all the moving from car to car stuff to be crazy and silly enough to be cool, but then hated the driving, deleted the demo, and have zero interest again.
I am not thrilled with UbiSoft hating the PC community so much that they even fail to deliver a PC demo.
Just look at all the delays of PC ports of theirs.
It's clear they're up to nothing but "we make no money on PC so we won't bother with it" while in reality it's 100% because of their own choice. Release a single turd a year, of course it's going to make the PC look like crap compared to the consoles.
Thus, demo feedback: 0/5, UbiSoft I'd like to see go burn in hell before Activision does. F 'em.
I liked the driving in the game, and it gave a really good sense of speed. The story could be stupid funny and interesting if they keep going the way they went in the demo. Overall I though it was pretty decent.
