Hi all, I just want to know if video games have strengthened or repaired relationships with you relatives and friends.

Samurai Gunn and Risk of Rain helped cheer up my cousins and repair our relationships after some family problems. I do not want to get into much detail but couch multiplayer is the next best thing to family counseling.

I love You Don't Know Jack. My girlfriend is the only person I can play it with. I am much better at You Don't Know Jack than my girlfriend is. So everytime we play... she gets pissed. No fun.

Glad to hear couch multiplayer worked out better for you though. ;)

I doubt that my brother and I would be as close as we are without video games.

Some of my best friends are best friends because we played a ton of Streets of Rage 2 or Halo together, or Tekken Tag and Smash Bros. 64 against each other. Or Perfect Dark allowed us to do both! These days, games aren't even the things we talk about most but they certainly laid a foundation.

Nope! If anything it has caused some of those problems. :D
