Favorite 360 multiplayer shooter?
I'm going to once more attempt to get a group of 360 GiantBombers together for a multiplayer game, and hopefully this poll will help me figure out which one to choose.
EDIT: A couple of people have asked me why I don't have Black Ops on here. I didn't put it on here because Modern Warfare 3 is on here and I didn't want any series duplicates. If Black Ops would have been on here, so would Halo 3, Bad Company 2, BF1943, and Gears of War 1 and 2.
EDIT 2: I also realize that there are a lot of other multiplayer games out there. I was trying to pick things that most people probably had. Hey, if I can get a lot of people playing these games on a regular basis then those other games will definitely come into play; if not by me then surely someone else will gather up a group of people.
Never played any of those on the 360 as I gave up on the live scam a long time ago. For the little while that I did do it though I recall having the odd fun match of Halo 3, but the only real shooter enjoyment I got was playing one of the Gears of War games co-op with a friend. Think it was the second one. Most fun I had with live though was with one of the Smackdown vs Raw games. Loved making CAWs and getting online and destroying people with them. That game ran my like/dislike ratio into the ground on live because I was destroying people so badly that they would always give me bad feedback.
All of them are not the best games in their respective series. My favourite is currently Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

That is one long answer for a simple question.

I'm a complex man.
Other Motherfucker.
I really enjoyed Red Faction Guerrilla the most of my 360 online experiences. Out of your choices though, probably Gears 3.

i would think left 4 dead 2 counts as a shooter, but anyway i chose battlefield 3
It definitely is, and it is definitely fun, but I was looking for competitive shooting. I can get far more people into one game that way.

Entirely subjective. I liked Bad Company 2, but every single time I've been getting on there lately, some guy has gotten into a helicopter and stayed in it the entire game and neither I nor anyone else has been to take him down, and all he does is shoot my teams' spawn point. On every single game. I don't know if this is bad luck or if I actually just suck, but I'm having more fun on BF3 than I ever did on BFBC2.
Out of those Gears, but people tried to bring people together before and nobody seemed to care. I really like Reach, Reach is cool... I should probably play a bit of that again.
I played a lot of Black Ops with friends for a while before we all got burned out. After a while it was more about just logging in and shooting the shit while we played the game rather than the other way around. It was like "yah then she completely went off on the dood, the whole store was staring, it was hilarious, so - they're at B - I walk over to the.."

oh and btw, i'm your friend on your silver xbox live account, and I'd like to know if you made a group or thread or something regarding scheduled playing times. i have finals for the next few days but will be done afterwards

That's what this is for - to gauge which game it will be. Tomorrow evening I'll both make a new thread and send a message to everyone on that friends list stating a time and date for this. It will probably be next Saturday afternoon or evening. Looks like it's going to be Halo Reach.
Hey, how did it go the first time?I'm going to once more attempt to get a group of 360 GiantBombers together for a multiplayer game, and hopefully this poll will help me figure out which one to choose.
I picked Gears of War 3. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed playing that multiplayer after not touching it in 1 or 2.

It, unfortunately, didn't. It was finals week for me, so it was pretty hectic. I still thought I could properly get it put together and up and running, but I decided to announce it a day before without much thinking and when it came time to start playing, no one joined despite being invited. I thought I should try it once more just in case, but if this doesn't work out then it will have proven itself to be a fruitless venture.
Halo Reach is still a blast to play. I have to admit that I didn't know that I was that into that game until I saw a statistic that showed that I've put in over 500 hours into Reach alone. (I used the word that six times right there lol)
Obviously Halo 4 has me excited.
I'm not a big fan of FPS, but given enough time and if the day and time are right, should be able to borrow either Halo Reach/Gears 3/BF3 from my cousin to join and give it a whirl.
