Favorite game series that has more than three games?

I'd have to say Metal Gear (Solid) is mine. I'm trying to think of other series that have a bunch, I know Nintendo has their games, like Zelda, Mario, and what have you, then there's Final Fantasy... Well, yeah, I guess mine would have to be the Metal Gear series. I'd like to know what yours are, and maybe that'll even help me recall some other great series of games out there. Oh, and I guess the reason behind me liking the Metal Gear series the most, especially the Solid games, is because to me, they're all consistently fantastic, and interesting to me, I can't say the same for others out there, or at least I don't think I can. Oh yeah, there's Assassin's Creed, but to me, those are almost episodic in a way, as if from AC2 to Revelations was one game, and I still think MGS is better anyways, but still, there's that.

The Warcraft franchise has always been a favorite of mine, even before the MMO.
The lore is pretty solid and its quite the world they have thought up.
 
My Nintendo heart makes me say Zelda, but I found that to be a too obvious first answer.

Hah, Metal Gear Solid is mine too. And probably Final Fantasy, allthough those games aren't actually a series in the same way.

Fifa, Madden, Call of Duty, Ratchet and Clank.

I think all of the 2D Castlevania games are pretty damn amazing. I can discount the 3D ones, right?

If not, I don't know, Metroid? The Elder Scrolls? Rock Band? It's pretty hard to think of a great series that doesn't have any glaring low-points.

I find it really hard to come up with an answer...

I love a lot of series with more then 3 games.. but not loving them all.

Probably zelda is my my most obvious answer. Assassins creed might end up in here and i want to say darksiders but i haven't even played the second one yet.

The other ones i have loved haven't hit gold with me on every game, let alone 3 or 4.

More than 3? That is a bit limiting, like I would have said Mass Effect, or Saints Row, but not now.

I would have to say my top 5 would be (in no particular order) Elder Scrolls, Metal Gear Solid, Persona, King's Field, and Grand Theft Auto. Honorable mentions to Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, and Castlevania.

I've never met a Kirby game I didn't like. (Even Air Ride.)

Runner up is a tie for all of Metal Gear, and all of Metroid (Met-a!) Only Portable Ops(+) holds MG back, I even liked Ac!d 1 and 2. For pure hours played, MG wins. For personal ownership, Metroid wins.

Castlevania, Zelda, Mario etc. all have too many wildcards. But in another thread I put Zelda II in my permanent top 3. ;)

Super Mario Brothers franchise.

Resident evil. Mass effect of you count the iOS games

Pokémon, Tetris.

Star Wars count? Tie Fighter, Rouge Squadron, KOTOR, the 3 platformers on the SNES were awesome too.

Favorite would have to be Final Fantasy, followed closely by the Capcom VS. series.

Metal Gear. GTA4 and RE5 dissapointed, MGS4 did not.

I like a lot of series with more than three games, but Final Fantasy is the only one I can think of where I like more than three of the games from it.

Well technically you got the IPOD/IPAD games for ME so even if you don't like those maybe Mass Effects 1-3 ae so awesome it negates the mediocrity/badness of the IOS games.

Without a doubt, Ratchet and Clank.

I have absolutely enjoyed every single one of the games in that series (except All 4 One, which I haven't played).

Probably Final Fantasy cause I'm a boring asshole. Usually in longer series I feel like they almost always drop the ball eventually.

I'm gonna say my consistently favorite multi-game series would have to be civilization. Those games are always able to suck me in and make me play them 8 hours strait.

Can we call Oddworld a series? Because I love Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus and Stranger's Wrath. Munch is fun, too.

Also Rayman. Though I haven't finished 3 yet, I think 1, 2 and Origins are all great.

Metroid, The Elder Scrolls, Zelda, Fallout. Probably forgetting something. Almost typed Monkey Island, but then I remembered that series only has 2 games.
