These guys are cool, and I must mention that NintendoCapriSun is OK, but he has ads for his lp's now. which suck.

Any answer that doesn't include helloween4545 is incorrect.
Also, these types of threads already exist.
Is Vinny Caravella an option?
Otherwise, it's Hamz. I don't really like LP's of a game I've actually played, though, and I'll generally stop watching if I end up wanting to play it myself. And it's killing me that I'm not far enough in my own P4 playthrough to keep moving with the Endurance Run.
" How about Giant Bomb's own community musician Hamst3r? He is hamsteralliance on youtube, or you can click on the "viewers like you" at the top of Giant Bomb's home page to find his work. He is pretty damn funny. "Yup.
Hams3r is awesome and I am deeply saddened by the lack of a current play through.
Get back to work, you lazy bum!

What do you guys think of the judicial aspect of this going forward? Has there been any action taken against this "Let's play" business yet?
Games are not movies, so it's certainly not obviously illegal or even against game publishers interest. But if you can view the complete story of say Heavy Rain or Final Fantasy, there might be some people on the fence who would just view those kinds of games being played and be fine with that.
Perhaps the first victims or this practice if there are any might be games with interesting stories but dull gameplay *cough* Catherine *cough*.

"Some companies have even supported larger Let's Players by giving them free stuff to give away to viewers. You might be surprised how many people get inspired to pick up their own copy of a more obscure game when it gets LP'd. I only get a moderate amount of viewers with Persona 3 yet literally dozens of people have written to me saying how they've been inspired to pick up the game for themselves.
Sometimes LPs get taken down by bigger companies in the name of copyright; Square Enix seems to be the main offender here as many Final Fantasy LPs have been taken off youtube by them. Otherwise I don't really know of any companies against the hobby; many more are for it since it's free promotion of their game.
Right now I'm watching the Metal Gear Solid 2 LP by Chip Cheezum and General Ironicus, and it's way better than I expected it to be. Funny commentary that goes silent during the cutscenes, a ridiculous level of detail when it comes to pointing out all of MGS2's secrets and intricacies, and an unexpectedly crazy level of comprehensiveness when it comes to covering the content in the game (they show skateboarding, the VR missions, and some stuff on the limited-edition bonus disc).
I also enjoyed l0rdvega's "Let's Play Silent Hill Blind" LP's, and I'm going to finish those someday.
I'm not really into LP's (yet?), but it's great to watch other people finish games that you started and either don't want to finish or don't have the fortitude to do so.
Not really into LP's, but I watched pretty much all of X's adventures in minecraft when I was new to it, and I've watched all of the BlueXephos minecraft videos, even if they are completely off the wall at this point.
- Clicking on the name will take you to the playlist of the game.
- Let's Plays will have this symbol next to the name *
- Ignore the numbers next to the Walkthroughs & LPs i'm watching as they just remind me where I have got up to.

You just blew my mind. I have been visiting this site for a long time now (I don't post all that much) and had no idea there were links hidden in that section.
" Pokecapn and Crew "Pretty much! And ResearchIndicates. And I find something really enjoyable about watching ElectricalBeast have conversations with himself in Mario 64.
Lager1188 and mattmaloneypresents, pure witty Alan Partridge style entertainment. The fact that lager films most of his LP's on a phone camera just adds to the rustic charm.

It's great.
This. Also DE?AD and Moriveth who do Co-op LP's in the Penny Arcade forums." @animateria said:

My personal favourite is MisterFantasmo, his Minecraft and Mario series are hilarious. If you guys are into Let's Plays, I've recently started doing a Mario one with a buddy and are about to start Dragon Age that you could check out. I won't post the link again but if you're interested I posted about it before (probably on my profile)
