Arkham Asylum and Splosion Man tie for me.
Favorite non 2010 game of 2010!
" Mother 3- amazing game. It's funny, it's sad... it's amazing. Penumbra- Started playing last night. It's truly a tense game. I only managed to play for an hour before calling it a day. "no clue what any of those are
@Jeust: I'm totally downloading Sanitarium now, I hope you're happy^^
This is so hard... - Kameo! :(
I have always loved the game but man it's a great game! Pretty proud of having a launch version of it. And also, if it is about the absolute best game of this year that didn't come out this year it would probably be Mass Effect, I finished it like three times I think in january and that game is amazing.
I didn't play a lot of old games this year. Not that I can remember anyways. I did play Bully, and that was pretty good. I guess I vote Bully.Bully was my game of the decade. That game (especially the back half) is awesome in almost every way.
Edit: Oh, wait! I totally played Arkham Asylum earlier this year! Changing to that. Awesome game.
My choice is World of Warcraft. Wait, I probably had more fun with Assassins Creed 1&2... But definitely played more WoW.
Either Chrono Trigger or The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Yeah, I've been digging into the past a bit. Next on my hit list: Super Metroid. You get the picture.

" half-life 2 "Always a correct answer.
Shining Force- I played this game a lot as a REALLY little kid, but I could never pass the 3nd encounter and never figured out how to save, so I'm gonna put it in here. The combat system is SO good, it's a shame that more turn based RPG's never picked it up. I think if the items were a little easier to manage, this would be one of the best games of all time.
The Darkness- Wow, is this an underrated game. The graphics are kind of dated, but I think the pulsating effect still looks great when all of the lights are out in a room. I still haven't finished it yet, but up to this point, I'm loving the story. Also, Mike Patton's voice is orgasmic.
" The Saboteur!!!!!! "Have you played Assassin's Creed? If so how does the Saboteur compare?
" I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream >.>ahaha I'm happy. I hope you enjoy it! Let all the weirdness sink in. :p

Forza 3. I'm only like 25% completed with the season mode, and I've been playing for what feels like eternity. But I don't ever want to stop.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Borrowed from a friend. It's taking me a while to go through it, but I like it a lot.
Mass Effect - Borrowed from the same friend. I like it better than the second.
Torchlight - Bought from a Steam Sale, really enjoyed it.
Splosion Man - Bought it from an XBLA sale, I enjoyed this one a lot also (That's why it's on this list.)
Other than climbing buildings and travelling along the roofs of them I don't understand the comparisons." @MatPaget said:

In my opinion The Saboteur is a way better game than the first Assassin's Creed.
I also played through Mass Effect again in anticipation for Mass Effect 2.
Just now started another Oblivion playthrough.
Edit: Just realized that Minecraft counts.
Dead Space:
I just finished playing Dead Space a few days ago for my second time. I played it on Easy, because I wanted to experience the story, and not worry about getting killed by the Necromorphs every few minutes. It's still the scariest game I've played since F.E.A.R. (the first one. Now, I'm ready for Dead Space 2, when it comes out in January. It's my choice for my favorite non 2010 game I've played this year. My proudest moment: I unlocked an achievement for beating the game with only the plasma cutter. It became quite deadly as I upgraded it throughout the adventure.
I'm also currently playing Medal of Honor Allied Assault. I bought it at Goodwill last week for just $3 dollars. The game so far is good, but I'm a little bothered that it seems like it's more of a run-and gun than cover-based shooter. That's probably because I've been playing a lot of cover-based action games lately (like Mass Effect 2 for example). I just finished the Omaha beach landing mission, and it was brutally tough. Finally, my only real nitpicking is that the game seems to lag a little when I'm firing a weapon.
