So does half of the games on my list. I am talking about Dead Space 3, Half-Life 3, Metal Gear Solid 5, all of which are not confirmed. They need to be...

Also a better Ace Combat game than Assault Horizon. That blew ass.
we have several of those.. it's hard for me to ask for a new one without it being more of the same. Hard to think of where else the series could go.
I had one idea... an Ace Combar RTS in the vein of Battlestations series.

We do, but more is required. Ace Combat is second to none in putting the best orchestral, fist pumping music around, and combining it with epic radio chatter and making the battles feel impactful. For some reason, I find it does this better than all your call of duties and shooters and anything. It feels like playing the last mission of the first Mass Effect, but PLAYING as Joker. For 12+ hours.
It's an itch I need scratching every 2-3 years, and Assault Horizon failed to scratch said itch.
As unlikely as that is, absolutely. Another Dino Crisis would be rad too.@Sanitysend said:
Warcraft 4... now. Ignore WoW.
Yes!
Also I know its pretty recent but a Space Marine sequel pleeeease?
Crysis does not have a sequel, and we'll see how Max Payne 3 goes.@AhmadMetallic said:

Really?, because Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 beg to differ. I don't know if you're being an arrogant fanboy or are simply ignorant.

I'm being what you call an arrogant fanboy, but what I simply call a fan. Just because the same developer made a game and used the same name with '2' next to it does not make it a sequel TO that game. Especially when the very things that defined said game have been lost in the sequel.@AhmadMetallic said:

I refer to that as simple immaturity. I hated Gears of War 2 but still accepted it as a sequel because that's what it was despite my absolute love for the original. Many games and their developers deviate but that's the point of innovation; to try something new and hopefully succeed.

Oh, okay. Maybe you should put the latest title on the list; I was a little confused by this. Thought you might have been unsatisfied with the sequels and thought they needed different sequels or something. Swapping them out for DS2, Episode 2, and MGS4 would clear it up.
I would kill for a proper old school turn based Front Mission game with nice modern HD graphics, and for some one to make a sexy HD Advanced Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics game not on a poopy handheld but something with power like a PC or a console.

Half-Life could use an update as well as a sequel. Think of all the stuff that gets a HD makeover; I've never bought one, but I would buy an updated Half-Life/Opposing Force/Blue Shift/Decay package re-release in a second. a'course...Half-Life 3 would be nice too...
Most devs give us more of the same year after year, Valve is at the opposite extreme - decades between releases even when we'd take more of the same to tide us over.
Crazy as it sounds, wouldn't mind having a more up to date (yet wacky as the original) for Shadow Warrior. Thought that they did a lot on the original game for creating a world with a ton of interesting weapons, throwing in a ton of anime/pop culture stuff, had some great music yet got completely overshadowed by other games at the time. Plus it'd be easier to salvage that franchise than Blood after that lackluster sequel. Also Nocturne (mainly because it still can't run on as far as I know on Vista/Win7), a great mix of the Untouchables with the X-Files with some fun moments, interesting settings with a great game world full of rich occult history to explore.
Carmageddon & Racing Destruction Set would be other good ones but saw some recent concept art for Carmageddon so no clue where that one is at but someone is working on the ideas of bringing more to that franchise.
@BitterAlmond: yeah sorry about that. When I made the list I clicked on the franchise and not the game so some of the games listed are the picture of the franchise.
Warcraft - sequel
Fallout - sequel
Earth defence force - sequel
Burnout - sequel
Timesplitters - either
Dissidia - sequel
I want to see a real System Shock 3; I wanna know what crazy adventures Shodan has been on since SS2 :(
Rome Total War-Sequel
Sid Meier's Pirates-Remake
F-Zero-Reboot
Jak and Daxter-Reboot, but not the way Brad said Naughty Dog was going to reboot Jak making him all realistic.

Check out Wasteland 2. It just got a huge Kickstart from fans; should be a faithful sequel, with the same feel as Fallout 1 & 2.
I'd only want an RE2 remake if CAPCOM weren't developing it. Considering the business model they have for their franchises, and the direction RE in particular has taken, I'd hate to see them defile the brilliance of RE2.
Then again, no matter who would be developing it, I imagine CAPCOM would still hold the reigns of what sort of direction it'd be going in, much like how the development for dead rising 2 went down. So... yeah, I'm better off without an RE2 remake. After RE6, I think the series will no doubt be in need of a full reboot anyway, fiction-wise at least.
I would love to see a new Dino Crisis game, though. Shadow of Rome could do with an extra entry as well; surprised how little attention was given to it afterwards. It was such a fantastic game and mixed in a lot of different elements well, even if the stealth segments were kinda dull and contrived. Still one of my favourite PS2 games, though. Also give me a new 2D Broken Sword adventure game!
