Gamebomb.ru- A new chapter.

As Giant Bomb is surely heading into a new chapter of it's life it seems GameBomb is aswell. For they seem to be looking for new writers. I am unsure as why i was on thier website today but I was, and stumbled upon this. I dunno I think I may apply.

The site needs a new tape drive or tape drive for a few of Svezhachka on an ongoing basis.

Mandatory requirements:

1. The presence of a sample of his work on Youtube, pleasant voice, and gab and a desire to play new games
2. The presence of high-speed Internet
3. Commitment, punctuality and responsibility
4. Conducting 2-hour Stream

It is desirable (but not necessarily) the availability of consoles P33, Xbox360 and a second computer, eg laptop connected to the network.

Damn it. I was there 100% until the "be not cattle" part.

Still, this is an amazing opportunity. I have no idea why Gamespot didn't acquire GameBomb instead. It seems like such a more natural fit.

Holy s**t! I use to have a nightmare which featured a tiny dwarf creature who sounded like him in that video... bought back scary memories. \

Oh and the moon use to have a face in these nightmares... :D

I wonder if they need an American correspondent... I kind of really want to have GameBomb on my resume.

GiantBomb might have sold out, but GameBomb is still indie as fuck!

Fucking hell, the video is still going?! I didn't realize it was almost fifteen minutes. God damn. Fuck this. My ears.

Huh, can't believe that they're still up and take their job seriously.

The funniest part is that at the bottom of he site it says that it's copyrighted and any unauthorized copying will be punished according to the law.

Oh wow, they got their own video content now. Took me back to times when there were shows on Russian TV with segments about video games. They usually had this type of fast talking "cool gamer dude" that would read a very overwritten text filled with really embarrassing ways to make games sound edgy. Almost creating an imaginary club of psychopathic killers obsessed with virtual murder. Now it's pretty much the same but instead of a 40 year old man pretending to love video games it's a 20 year old dude pretending to love video games.

I'm not going to translate the video as a whole but in a nutshell it's the same thing. The dude is being a snarky shit with an annoying voice filter while talking about news of that week. It seems like they are looking for someone to actually be a dude to host that show (that's the "tape drive" in the post above) on a permanent basis. Hopefully it won't involve gimmicky voices.

Good for them for not stealing content though (besides the obvious stuff). They even opened up the review section for people to write guest reviews instead of just coming up with fake nonsense. It kind of destroys any sense of personality on the site by saturating it that much but it also gives people a chance to participate in the site more and they don't need to pay them anything. It's pretty smart in it's own way.

It never ceases to be funny how much they will steal haha- its great they're making videos now though haha

This is it, folks. Pack it up. They're going to win by sheer volume. Today it's only three reviews. Tomorrow, it could be thirty. Even if we finally manage to clone Jeff, we simply can't match that level of Mass Effect 3 reviewing.

I always wondered what job the Crazy Frog guy would end up doing.

Looking through their latest reviews their latest reviews include Starcraft 1, MK3 for the PS1, Gran Turismo for the PSP, and the expansion pack for Age Of Mythology. If they keep going they will have reviewed all of the games and Russian CBS won't be able to pass them up.
