Mirror's edge, such a stupid game and everyone around me loved it
Games everyone else besides you love?
Halo 2 and 3. Smash Bros.. probably more. Gears isnt all that to me either though I really did enjoy the story. :P
I have a few. I always try to play them before making my judgment. Here's my list of games everyone else but me loves (loved):
all GTA games
Gears 1 (haven't played 2, so don't know)
Kingdom Hearts
Splinter Cell (I think this one has to do w/ me being a MGS over splinter cell fan)
Socom (on PS2, cuz i don't think the PS3 one is that popular/loved)
Mass Effect
Smash Bros
Half-life 1
Final Fantasy X
Jak series
Tomb Raider (PSX era)
Virtua Fighter (am a Tekken guy)
Zelda franchise
Metal Gear, gameplay that keeps getting constantly interrupted by pretentious bad writing with scenes that I never could stand watching in a regular movie.
Zelda, all games are the same
anything anime/manga-related
I'm suprised by the discontent with halo 3. It's been the only Halo game I did like. Also Metal Gear 2 and 4 suprised me cause I expected to not like it (them), and was suprised, though some aspects do drag. So glad when Big Moma was over and done in, though the ending was truly epic and awesome. In fact, playing the Big Momma chapter was worth the ending, no pain no gain.
All Gta except Vice City. Vice City was a shining star, though I did bad things...
No fucking WOW for me, just no way in my life. In fact, NEVER! Gawd it looks awful going by a quick look lately..beating up on horned whales...really!
I'm trying Starcraft 2 right now, and it is with an open heart. I do want to learn Rts games... I do not and will not hate.
As for all others, I'm so conservative I rarely buy a game I do not think I'll like, even if I know it is reputed to be good. It is I'm sure good, just not for me, and I won't knock what I didn't waste my time on. Kinda a fair trade.
GTA series. I really enjoyed RDR though.
I love how most people are intelligent enough to claim they don't like a game on the thread, while some people like to state their opinions as fact.
Smart: "I didn't like this game" "I could not get into the game"
Arrogant: "This game sux" "Its such a horrible game."
Learn the difference between opinion and fact, you will not sound as retarded.
I hate to sound like one of those antagonistic (ding, quest complete) numpties, but I really can't seem to get into most of the major Nintendo franchises.
It's kind of like they've been making the same games over and over since the N64. That first 3D Mario? Pretty good game, man. Played it a bunch. Fast forward to me playing Mario Galaxy: This planet stuff is pretty neat. Oh wait, now we're in some generic-ass water level / ice level / fire level. And then I promptly lost interest.
It's not like I don't try to play their games, it's just that something about their brand of gentle nostalgia tinged saccharine fun just don't work for me.
God I have to agree with you..GTA not my type of game at all
If I actually play it..tiz only cuz Im forcing myself 4 like a friend or w/e
but I seriously don't care for the dang game though I do
admittedly like the gangster feeling it gives me when I play
I feel so pimpish =]

"That would solve most of my problems with forums. I've been saying this for years. Thank you, sir.
I would have to say Assassin's Creed and Gears of War. The first because it was unbearably repetative and had shallow combat, the second for it only being a competant 3rd person covor game with a wish-washy story but being seen as an example for all to follow.
The Zelda series. I've never owned any of them for any of the Nintendo consoles I've owned, and simply never cared to play them. I don't see what the big deal is, personally.
The Mass Effect series. I tried to like it and pushed myself to play through 10 hours of it despite not enjoying it, but I couldn't get into it. Which is weird because I love a lot of other Bioware games and I still get urges to play through Baldur's Gate 2 every year but I just can't get into ME.
Gears of War, hate the controls and the cover system just doesn't make sense to me, I feel like it should be a run and gun style game. Halo and MMO's are something people seem to love as well but I despise it. Also, Metal Gear, I loved the first game for the Playstation, but 2, 3 and 4 just didn't do it for me.
