Games which are.... fun to play? fun ??

Well to be honest im getting tired of firefights and enemies and dangers and worries and too much competition, its just getting to me and i need a break.... im kind of a peaceful wuss and i dont enjoy too much aggression and struggle... i spent the last two years playing the latest shooters and action/adventure games nonstop and im tired.
  
It's not like im gonna stop playing my usual game genre, its just that i sometimes get in a mood where i wanna play video games but i dont wanna fight anyone or worry about anything or finish dangerous missions etc.....
  

are there any new cool exciting games which consist of F-U-N ?  not so much dangers or enemies or bad guys... please no boring puzzle games or old platformers or a sidescrollers or whatever, just something that is fun and pleasant and NEW and looks good ???   if there are adventure games which dont consist of much fighting and problems, just actual fun adventures, go right ahead and post em .. no sports/racing games cuz they're too competitive
 i mean video games are supposed to be entertaining and amusing, not only challenging and exhausting..

Hmm...Panzer Dragoon Saga, Astro Boy: Omega Factor, Saints Row 2, etc.

Fun is really subjective... plus you knocked out a lot of genres in your list leaving only racing games, simulations, sports games and board games.  Try Monopoly.  Your post indicates you are not ready for either Scrabble nor Boggle.

How about adventure games? I recommend The Longest Journey.

I think you can pick up Viva Pinata for the PC. That game is serious fun with a capital F-U-N. Pretty challenging, too.

Well if not TLJ then there are loads of adventure games out there.

A game that I really enjoy relaxing to is Osmos, plus it's ten dollars on Steam. Other than that, one that looks like it will be a little more action oriented will be Torchlight. However I haven't played it yet as it comes out Tuesday.

Saints Row 2.

You might try Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies. Those are two very casual games that I've found almost anyone can enjoy regardless of how much of a "hardcore" gamer they are.
 
Also, you might look into some of the TellTale adventure games like Tales of Monkey Island, Sam & Max, or Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.

Resident Evil 4 also, it's veru fun and not all that challenging.

Whatever you do, don't try Demon's Souls. =P

I suggest Civ 4 or Civ: Revolutions.  There is some thought involved, but win or lose, it's fun and addicting.

Try out old school adventure games, theyre fun and relaxing. and go buy psychinauts if you never played it, if you cant find it get it on STEAM

A really fun game that I never thought I would get addicted to is called Burger Shop.  Once I started playing it, I couldn't stop.  I played through the whole story mode and aced every level in less than a week of pure addiction.  It has a sequel that I was considering buying, but do not need right now so it is on the backburner.
