GTA: San Andres-I got to a point somewhere in San Fierro, and just said, "Damn, this game is just too long."
Final Fantasy X-I found it extremely boring, guess I'm not the JRPG type.
World of Warcraft-Well, I guess you can't technically complete the game, but I only got to level 42 before giving up.
Too many others to tell...
GTA: SA. I got realy depressed when I realised it wasn't as fun or imaginative as Vice City. So I gave up,because I didnt feel like spending 50 hours in that game.
Turok: Evolution. battled my way through the first few levels, then had to battle the urge to throw myself under a steam roller
FFXII - I just couldn't get into for some reason (I like turn-based combat, if it's not broke don't fix it!)
Let's go further back in time:
Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude for the Sega Genesis.
Such an annoying game. I swear I came this close to beating it as a kid a couple of times, but other times I got so confused by one of the level designs that I just got stuck for a day.
James Pond 2: Codename Robocod also for the Genesis and a few older consoles.
Haven't heard of it? I don't blame you. A platformer with a weird character who stretched really high. For some reason, I'd play the game for an hour and get to the same point where there seemed to be no place to go, like literally nowhere else to go. I could never figure it out. Drove me nuts.
Sewer Shark for the Sega CD.
Possibly the angriest I've ever been at a videogame. It was a weird pack-in game with full-motion video where you pilot this sewer cleaner thingie and kill rats and have to make precise turns or you die. Basically a guy on a radio shouts turns at you (three, six, niner, niner, three, six) and then you have to execute those turns perfectly or you die. I got one minute from finishing the game and made a wrong turn and died. Never played it again.
Every JRPG ever. Spend the entire game grinding only to make it to an area near the final battle where you must grind an additional 10+ hours to even try and stand a chance?
No thank you.
Half Life 2
A solid shooter and the grav gun was fun for a bit
But after getting poisoned and sniped in the same place for the fiftieth time I asked myself:
"Do I really care about what happens? Do I really want to kill the same Combine mobs and head crabs fifty times to find out what happens to doctor no face?"
The answer was no
