Over the past week I have heard of 2 older games that I totally forgot about but loved when I was kid, Little Nemo The Dream Master and North And South. I played these games for hours and hours on end as a child, but they got lost in my memory forever. Anybody else have this happen? Maybe it could jog peoples memories if there are more.

Edit: Sorry for the typo in the topic

Plenty of Gensis Games; Flicky, California Games, heck don't even remember a majority of the titles. A lot of Arcade games are still nostolgic to me; X-Men cabinet that had 2 monitors and The Simpsons games, Cruisin USA as well. Heck when I get the space i'd so buy an X-Men Arcade Machine in a heart beat.

Rainbow Islands. One of the first games I ever played and I still have fond memories of. I just keep forgetting the name but I remember the actual game very well.

They probably even forgot they posted on this forum,

The jak and daxter series, awsome platforming goodness, mixed with mature dialogue, memorable characters and well designed weapons.

Ogre Battle popped into my memory a few weeks ago when I found out that it was released on Wii's VC.   I loved that game.

Rampage: World Tour.  I loved that game for arcades and PS1 when it came out. I played it again recently on Midway's Arcade compilation.

I remember some game on my NES where you were this little guy in a suit, and you just ran back and forth space harrier-like dodging stuff, and occasionally jumped over these big gaps in the checkered floor.  I really liked that game for some reason but still can't remember the name of it though.

Bubsy for the Sega Genesis. I used to play that game so much a long time ago. Now I don't have my Genesis anymore so now I'll probably just use an emulator to play it.

I do have one experience like this in my past that I didn't understand until about 10 years ago.

When I was like 5 or 6 or something I must have played Pengo.  When I was 13 or so I saw the crappy drawing I did of the aurora scene from the game, but I didn't know what game that was.  When I was like 18 or something I finally discovered MAME and tried Pengo and realized this was the game I had played years ago and drawn the graphics from.

Anyways I only had a TI994a for games for a long time, and I remember all those games pretty clearly.  Didn't get a NES until the 80's were mostly over, so I can safely say I remember every game I ever loved, even if they're not always on the tip of my mind.

Ha. You're right, that game was pretty rad. I've actually played at least a couple good Looney Toons games in my life.

Also, I really loved Bubsy like someone else mentioned. Cool Spot was a wicked game too. Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers on the NES was a total classic. Rampage games are always good fun, even if they are incredibly repetitive and can get old pretty quickly. Well, this thread has served its purpose and reminded me of several games I loved and have forgotten about. Oh, while we're on it, how about Duck Tails on the NES? Legendary!

Paperboy and Smash TV. Also playing Bomberman 64 and you remember that level with the bridges across the castle and it would shrink as
time would go by? I would love getting people stuck in the pit by hitting them with bombs and leaving them unconscious.

I recently played Super Mario World for SNES again, fun times.

More uniquely though, played some of my SSX games and forgot how much fun they were. That and WarioWare.
