I found a page on their site, with content that I WROTE.
But is it sexy?
@snide Can we pull a "warriors" and go beat them up?
Of course we can. You know Snide. He's... hardcore.

They don't call him Hardcore Dave for nothing.
Also from what I've seen the process seems to be automated. Since a page on Giant Bomb had a list on the oage of the character. On GameWise, there is the same character page, but the list had been bunched up together. So instead of being:
It became:
PotatoesTomatoesHuman Trees
@pulledabrad: There are plenty of those. To easily find ripped contents, go to a certain category, then click a random letter. Any page that does have content, as in words under the page's name, then it's likely the page has ripped content. I found several this way,
@probablytuna: No kidding? It takes at least 24 hours minimum for updates to happen.
@drewh: While you wait enjoy Giant Bombcast.
It takes 24 hours to update a story? That sounds insane! Why is that? Are there just so many people to go through over there?
I like that this guy: http://n4g.com/user/home/jarquemclark replied to Deno546 in this n4g topic: http://n4g.com/news/1178760/gamewise-is-the-imdb-of-video-games
and then when looking at his posting history, its 90% links to Gamewise: http://n4g.com/user/comments/jarquemclark/all/1
And then the person that replied to me on the HuffPo says almost word for word the same thing (irony) and they just made their user about 20 min before the response on the n4g page.
Don't forget the part where the guy from the HuffPo comment admitted he read this thread, while it's obvious that an admin was taking down pages as they got mentioned here.
edit: "Brian Berford" made another comment on the article giving 5 examples of non-plagarized content, maybe someone with a HuffPo account should compile him a nice list of some plagarized content.
After spending 30 minutes making one, I posted this:

You sexy motherfucker you.
Strangely my post has not been made on that website.
If you find stuff screen shot it and send it right to @snide
UPDATE* Comments on the HuffPost's article are being moderated much quicker than yesterday, but also a lot of comments pro-Gamewise have appeared, much probably Gamewise people with fake accounts. I just replied to a dude who wrote "Hurr durr so what if Gamewise rips content from GB, it's better looking!", it took less than 5 minutes to have it posted.
Is CBSi legal on this? I hate this shit. Giant Bomb has original content, and the users built up this site's database over a long period of time. The scummy way they're hiding their tracks makes it even worse, especially since it's nearly impossible when they seemingly built their site on the back of this one to begin with.
It seems that we're able to write articles on Gamewise. Someone should write one containing the evidence we have, (I'm unable to do it until 4)
Dont do that. Dont go harassing their website. You will give GB a bad name.
Meh, fine, it probably won't get passed moderation anyways.
Also if you guys haven't seen this:

This pictures were uploaded on my profile but yet the pages were deleted shortly after.
Would be so nice if the staff gave us some updates on the matter. @snide?

This is nuts. I think it's time to make a little "courtesy" visit, guys. Preferably with a bunch of knives and baseball bats.
Can the baseball bats have nails driven through them?

Yea man, Boston Bashers for everyone, bring it on!
As someone who cares a lot about this site and tries to contribute to it on a daily basis, this makes me pretty angry. What kind of self-respecting site allows itself to be filled with stolen content? I also really don't like how a lot of this content just disappeared without any mention of it. The fact that many of these pages don't have contributors, and that so much information has been collected so quickly makes me worry that they may have used to Giant Bomb API to pull data from the site wiki, and then violated almost the entire terms of use for it. I don't think this situation is nearly big enough for CBSi legal to get involved, but hopefully we can get this plagiarism scrubbed from their site, and some sort of acknowledgement of where this data came from in the first place.

Im still waiting for the huffing post dude to update his story to let people know they steal wiki info.
So much content has been scrubbed from there lol. Glad that so many screenshots have been taken of evidence. also in case you would like to comment on the their facebook bragging about this exposure, here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=426771994067272&id=183356741764123&comment_id=2958346¬if_t=share_reply
@the_laughing_man: We must remember that while he has an obligation to be truthful, he isn't writing directly for us. I know at least a couple of us think his 24 hour thing is unnecessary, but he probably has a lot of other work, and needs to properly research before amending that article.

Are those pages that we know contained stolen content?

Not 100% sure but thats a huge amount of editing to do in a short time and then just end up with semi empty pages for most of them.
