Gary Whitta's glorious return to PC game reviews.

Ok, it's not quite a "return" per se.. In the following video, Gary Whitta does a guest review for "Hot Pepper Gaming", a YouTube video series in which the host attempts to talk about a particular game after having consumed an extremely hot pepper.

He does fairly well, I have to say.

I'd love to see the Giant Bomb crew make guest appearances on this series.

That is a fantastic idea and I'm all for entertaining review gimmicks.

That's both incredibly dumb and kind of awesome at the same time. Ten thumbs up!

EgoRaptor's review was hilarious... for the first two minutes, then you just feel really bad for him.

Brad needs to get on this immediately.

Garry is holding up quite well compared to Egoraptor. Great concept and would love to see Brad to do one.

He could do a Hot Pepper review for Brothers: "There won't be 10 peppers better than this Habanero this year."

That was really amazing in some weird voyeuristically sadistic way.

This one is great because it just seems like she's having a mental breakdown.

Wonder if they got the idea from that one video series of women reading classic literature while being... 'vibrated.'

This version is better.

I'm gonna go get me some habanero peppers because I need to know what they're going through.

I feel dirty for liking this so much. Funny how such a dumb little twist can make reviews interesting for the first time. Though if this catches on it's only a matter of time until the pain progresses until they are just blind folded and randomly kicked in the nuts at some point.

Jesus christ I really felt bad for Arin at the end of that he ate that thing in the WORST way.

She ate a fucking Scotch Bonnet, I'm surprised she was able to function at all.

I really like those reviews, it's a pretty fun concept. I could probably do that, and not have an extremely funny video though, as I am pretty resilient to spicy things. Granted, some of those are more fun and less informative as the reviewer is barely speaking. But hey, good entertainment!

Somehow I don't think "practicality" was high on their list when they devised this series.

Thank you for introducing me to this series. It's interesting to see how different people cope. Gary was able to handle it pretty well aside from the hiccups but Arin aka Egoraptor was barely able to function. I'd be pretty terrible at this seeing how I can't even eat chocolate without getting heartburn.

Kind of like Spicy Interviews...

I think we just found a new wrinkle to add to Breaking Brad.

You can actually see the point when it hits him, and his face just melts (its at about 30 seconds). I felt kind of bad watching it haha

Habenero is no joke. Use to work at a Tex Mex place and sometimes people would gather money to see someone eat one of those. I had a shitty night waiting tables and made an extra $20 doing it. Wasn't worth it, man.

This is perfect in all the right ways. I need to see Giant Bomb explore this territory.

I'd like to think I can handle my spicy foods.. but I've never tried these hell-bound peppers.

Garry was super cool about it. Great and a bit disappointing at the same time.

Gary held it down pretty well, especially compared to poor Egoraptor.

Also I approve of this dumb concept.

Ninja Brian is awesome, Ego raptor requested the hottest habanero (to be funny and get the biggest reaction) so its a more concentrated one he got and it shows. I just cant help but laugh at her "NO KITTY! dont drink" my milk!" and "AAAUAAAH!!! sometimes it makes you use the D pad!....I am so mad at this cat right now.
