Welcome to week 5 of the Giant Bomb Community Podcast!

In the absence of regular host Phatmac, the podcast transforms into a Polishcast in this week's episode. We discuss humongous mecha, engage in some more fighting game talk, express our passionate love for Monaco and some other stuff! All while making ourselves a potential target for Tim Langdell's wrath and fighting technical problems.

Also, the song from last week's outro is Nightcall (Sawagii Remix): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bZzL6KW2Fw

Wanna send us a question, suggestion, complaint? Then go ahead! Our e-mail address is giantbombcommunitypodcast@gmail.com and we will more than likely read and comment on whatever you wrote us!

The lack of mecha games here is far more an issue of licensing issues than anything else in the case of games with a wide variety of cast members.

The worst part about not having wifi Internet is not being able to play DOTA 2!!!

@phatmac: Man you missed the celebratory DOTA 2 match we all did after this amazingly successful episode.

Ghost was totally the MVP because the Polish of his play was top notch.

Which, for reasons I don't know, is probably all of them?

Casper Van Dien plays a really strong mid lane, and you can't knock the intensity that he brings to the match.

Well, there are gundam specific or macross specific games. There's enough variety within those individual franchises to fill entire games, though a general lack of interest in the west would be the main reason few ever see the light of day here. I'm pretty sure Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is only out here because of the Dynasty Warriors half of the name.
