If they had unlimited funds and could bring anyone on, who's on it?
Giant Bomb Dream Team....
Mary Kish and Jeff Green. Both are amazing at what they do and both are great when they are on podcasts.
I wish they could have kept Austin and Patrick. Bring on Danny too! I know everyone leaves for different reasons but, it's a dream team after all.
Actual dream team is just the original four, which is literally impossible, but at the same time so easy to just go back and watch in the archives.
For other random internet people, I would love to see Vinny play through some games with Epicnamebro, that would be a joy to watch. In the context of friends of the site that I would love just having around all the time, then Kessler and Lang for the West Coast. John Drake for the East Coast.

I can't top this, though. Except add Danny!
Everyone currently on payroll except Dan and then add Patrick Klepek, Adam Sessler, Cara Ellison, Leigh Alexander, Austin Walker, Gita Jackson, Danny O'Dwyer, Mary Kish, the ghost of Ryan Davis voluntarily possessing a sweet robot, Jeff Green, and what the hell, someone needs to save Stephen Totilo before Kotaku finds a way to blow up.
- Barack Obama, Jeff Gerstmann, and Matthew Rorie Endurance Run of the Xenosaga games.
- Drew Scanlon, James Cameron, and Viggo Mortensen do a bunch of shit in the wild.
- John Vignocchi, someone in a giant Pikachu costume, and Dan Rykert play horror games in the middle of the night in scary places.
- Daft Punk and Jason Oestreicher make sick AMVs.
- Vinny Caravella, Brad Shoemaker, and George R.R. Martin go to game developers around the world and break their games.
- Alex Navarro and Werner Herzog rank the cutest video games.
- Kessler covers the Bilderberg meetings.
OG Bomb-Crew, Luke Smith, Shawn Elliot, Jeff Green, Danny O'Dwyer, Shane Bettenhausen, Robert Ashley, Dave Snider, N'Gai Croal, and Justin McElroy (looking back, 2006 - 2008 was a great time for gaming podcasts)
Sonic the Hedgehog
The one running social media, the one in the cartoon series, or the one who was drunk on stage at the anniversary show?
Jeff Bakalar, Samantha Kalman, Austin Walker, Danny O'Dwyer, Mary Kish, Jeff Green would be a good start.
Then maybe Tom Cruise and Charlize Theron for that extra star power. Dr. Tracksuit would work equally fine.

All three of them, stacked on top of each other's shoulders in a giant Sonic the Hedgehog-themed trench coat

WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?
OT: Original four + Kumail Nanjiani + Emily V. Gordon.
@theht: This is a fucking stellar list.
Dave Snider, Drew, Vinny, Jeff Gerstmann and Jeff Bakalar all in the same office.
Add rotating guest appearances from Jeff Green, Will Smith and James Rolfe and this is where it would be at for me.
Edit: Oh god and Alex, he's one of my favorite persons on the internet, the Beastcast has been fantastic recently.
ITT a bunch of people who think the site could retain its chemistry and quality while massively increasing the size of the crew.
GB with a lot of additional people, no matter how talented, would cease being GB.
I don't really have a 'dream team' though of course I miss Ryan terribly. I think there are a lot of people who could fit in very nicely with the crew and each would have strengths and weaknesses. I do think they should add a woman, though, since every single front-facing employee has been male and it's getting a little uncomfortable.
But Jeff is also pretty darn good at recognizing talent, which is demonstrated by his plucking Austin from relative obscurity and now he's a BFD, and how well Jason and even Dan have fit in.
Keep the team as it is, add Mary Kish and Danny O'Dwyer. They can help the site both being in front of the camera and on the production side. Nothing else needs to change and the team doesn't need to get bigger.

No joke, that Alex Navarro/Werner Herzog combo would be the greatest thing ever made.
Bernie Sanders, Nick Robinson, Phil Kollar, and the rapper Father, no question.

Austin was a real blazing comet across the sky. Took a while for Patrick to grow on me I'll admit, though I think it fair to say he clearly improved his on air work along the way. By the end, when he was pulling New Dan for real and trying out stuff that was outside his wheelhouse, I grew to really like his work.
