The way the brackets were set up, Brad Muir pretty much has a cake walk to the semi-finals, maybe even the final. Rich Gallup versus Dad. That's a hard one.

#9 Posted by GeneralZod37 (294 posts) -

Muir is a shoe-in for the Final Four.

#10 Posted by JoeyRavn (5114 posts) -

Muir/Gallup are the new Batman and Robin.

#11 Posted by RandomInternetUser (6805 posts) -

That was really hard to decide, but Jeff Green has been a bigger part of Giant Bomb in my opinion. Also Brad Muir.

#12 Posted by NoobSauceG7 (1326 posts) -

I have to go with Brad and Rich. Tough set today!

#13 Posted by BonOrbitz (2398 posts) -

Brad and Jeff all the way. This one was tough choice between Jeff and Rich!

#14 Posted by Coafi (1519 posts) -

Brad, Brad, he's our man! If he can't do it our other Brad can!

My vote goes for Brad Muir and Jeff Green.

#15 Posted by AlisterCat (6088 posts) -

Brad Muir has to win, no matter what.

#16 Posted by Demoskinos (16145 posts) -

@Winternet: I request that you amend Jeff Green's profile stats to include his Mad Lib prowess.

I went with Brad and Rich, but I have absolutely no problem if Jeff wins.

#19 Posted by Little_Socrates (5834 posts) -

Sorry, Dave Lang! I guess you're shit out of luck on this one! I actually really like Dave, but Brad Muir could move in at Giant Bomb and I'd be okay.

I was just thinking the same thing, but with Jeff and Rich switched around.

#21 Posted by FLStyle (5383 posts) -

Brad and Rich, mainly because Rich is about to lose his job so maybe winning the Golden Duder will be a nice consolation?

The OP had unstated criteria for the initial match-ups. In a serious event, with no round robin, a straight knockout should really be random or random within given seeded brackets.

I call teh bias :D

#23 Posted by Winternet (8236 posts) -

@alternate: There was seeding. I seeded 8 duders.

#24 Posted by joshthebear (2704 posts) -

Muir and Gallup all the way.

#25 Posted by Olqavtoras (257 posts) -

Man, Green vs. Gallup is so difficult to decide! Muir is my final choice for any match-up, so I guess I've to go with Muir & Gallup.

#26 Posted by Master_Funk (747 posts) -

My nostalgia for the good old days of GS has swayed me into voting for Rich.Though I also love Jeff Green, Rich is more important to GB.

#27 Edited by Skyrider (398 posts) -

Muir and Gallup! Muir because he is Brad Muir and makes every piece of GB content he is featured in so much more jolly, and Rich Gallup because I was more attached to him as a fan than I was Jeff, Ryan or Alex in the Gamespot days. I was absolutely gutted when he left Gamespot, and I'm not ashamed to admit that his last episode of On The Spot made me cry.

These tables have been so badly laid out.

Learn from any major sporting competition and separate the best.

#30 Posted by Winternet (8236 posts) -

@SuperSambo: I have done that.

#31 Posted by Jothel (1012 posts) -

Brad and Rich, easiest choice ever.

EDITED: No point in comment, just in a bad mood.

Carry on the great work.

#34 Posted by Dethfish (3739 posts) -

Why the fuck is Jeff Green losing. This is some bullshit.

#35 Posted by RagingLion (1378 posts) -

Oh dear Lord, choosing between Jeff Green and Rich Gallup ..... ...... ahhhhh.

I felt I was leaning towards Rich Gallup for all that he was at Gamespot and yet that Jeff Green had seemed to make more of an impression during the time at Giant Bomb, but by looking at the hard facts Rich has probably been on things as much as Jeff so I'm going to let Rich win this. I do love me some Jeff Green though and feel he slots really well in with the GB crew. Super tough one.

#36 Posted by ShadowVirus (835 posts) -

Muir and Gallup.

I'm predicting Muir will win the Golden Duder.

#37 Posted by FateOfNever (1863 posts) -

Ouch, this one is actually difficult.

#38 Posted by Joker369 (923 posts) -

Rich vs Jeff? Shit.

#39 Posted by A_Dog (753 posts) -

No one wants to enter the Lang Zone...

#40 Edited by MrKlorox (11142 posts) -

I gotta pick Green over Gallup. Age beats beauty. I think it comes down to Jeff being more active and memorable in the recent years than Rich. Plus he's not afraid to curse on air. If only they were still making episodes of Button Mashing.
And I really don't know who Dave Lang is, so Brad Moo-ear wins as well.

#41 Posted by LiquidS (979 posts) -

Gotta go Jeff Green.

#42 Posted by AlexanderSheen (5147 posts) -

No matter who wins between Jeff and Rich, both of them golden duders.

I chose The Hostmaster, sorry Dad.

This. Green edges out Gallup for me though. I love me some Rich, but the love is mostly based on things from the GameSpot days so I don't think it's fair to give him too much credit for those.

PS: I wonder if the release of the Time Trotters video is affecting the voting in Rich's favour?

#44 Posted by cutyoface (564 posts) -

Muir and Gallup.

#45 Posted by Jolt92 (1644 posts) -

Brad and Jeff. Muir and Green that is.

#46 Posted by LiK (1084 posts) -

Jeff Green with either one.

#47 Posted by clumsyninja1 (848 posts) -

Jeff is NOT a billionaire...he's fly, pimping, hybrid friendly billionaire...

#48 Posted by psylah (2272 posts) -

Jeff Green is a KING AMONG MEN.

I hope I am cool enough to ride a motorcycle to work at 50+.

#49 Posted by Krakn3Dfx (2703 posts) -

Voted for Jeff Green, because Jeff Green.

#50 Posted by Sword5 (153 posts) -

Vote Jeff and Brad. They ship games.
