[Apologies if this has been suggested before. I did search for it, was surprised nothing obvious came up... ]
In the PAX Panel, Jeff goes on about how to give value to us through content (iPhone app, t-shirts etc) vs donations.
What about a DVD packed full of the best video moments Giantbomb has to offer?
I know such project might suck up a large amount of time and effort and with such a small staff this might not even be a starter. I do think with the passion and enthusiasm this community seems to generate, it is worth at least exploring.
I'll leave it open for contributions as to what you might like to see on such a product...
Giant Bomb: The DVD
Endurance Run DVD edition with behind the scenes b-reel and after-the-fact thoughts and opinions? Yep.
Massive compilation of quick looks and interviews? Oh yes.
Giant Bomb : The Animated Series? GOD YES.

They would need to work out a deal beforehand, a pretty expensive deal, I am afraid. Since they just added commentary, it can't be declared an original piece of work/art made by giantbomb.

Yeah fair call, didn't think about that.
Sorry but if endurance run is out of the question, that leaves a DVD full of reviews and previews, I seriously doubt they'd consider charging for a dvd which is technically full of purchase advice. Not to mention, all of the content on the site is free anyway and I think thats how jeff and co intended.
If you are keen to support them, buy a tshirt or the iphone app!
My one gripe is that unfortunately for people who dont have iphones or dont live in the USA there's not much we can do.
They should do an hour and a half documentary of the final week of playing Persona 4 and sell it for $15. I'm sure many people would buy it.
" @Khann said:yeah, and the fact that it's like 90 hours of video footage lol, how many dvds would that take" Endurance Run DVD edition with behind the scenes b-reel and after-the-fact thoughts and opinions? " @atomic_dumpling said:And then they could totally provide a running commentary on the running commentary that is the Persona 4 Endurance Run. The process begins anew. How meta!" @Khann said:yeah, and the fact that it's like 90 hours of video footage lol, how many dvds would that take "" Endurance Run DVD edition with behind the scenes b-reel and after-the-fact thoughts and opinions? All they would need is a lot of blank DVDs and someone to switch them out every time one is done burning.
I wouldn't mind if it didn't even have a sticker on the DVD and was just in a crappy white sleeve.
No, but good idea. It should be used to make some sort of Endurance Run DVD. I haven't even watched ER much, so I'd buy the DVD.
They should make a deal with Atlus to sell an Endurance Run DVD Collection with behind the scenes adding some cool material like interviews with the developers and a tour of the Atlus building (I bet it is pretty awesome like the Level 5 building that was shown in a White Knight Chronicles trailer).
