I love your creepy drawing style. Good work duder!

Awesome. I'd love to see one for the Nintendo Sales Rabbit conversation they had a month ago.

#53 Posted by Grixxel (835 posts) -

Awesome job as usual! And I just checked and yup, still miss Papa Bear Davis.

#54 Posted by ChrisTaran (1813 posts) -

Brilliant work on both of these. Looking forward to the next :D

Well done! What's the theme at the end? It's driving me nuts!

Edit: After watching again, I realized it's the closing theme from The Wire.

Incredible as always. Astounding work, dude.

Who put this on the front page? Because there's a typo in it.

Absolutely lost it when I saw Alex.

This is brilliant as always, though I'm a little shocked since I seem to be the only one following this creative duder on facebook.

Oh boy! I love nightmare time!

Seriously dude, your art style is amazingly amazing, and scarily scary. Keep it up.

Sucks that other dude stopped, the one that did "My Farm". I guess after the novelty fades, it's hard to keep the enthusiasm to keep pumping these out.

Great job Duder!

#66 Posted by ArtisanBreads (4844 posts) -

Awesome work. My favorite detail is the weird beard ears on Vinnie and Ryan.

It's like some National Film Board of Canada nightmare. O_o

I mean, more than they usually were... o_0

Impending congrats on 1000 posts duder!

That was glorious. Thank you for making this friday morning a hell of a lot better. If Giant Bomb ever needed an animator I would be pissed if they didn't at least consider you.

#73 Posted by dudeglove (9431 posts) -

Oh god it now makes perfect sense that it was Alex all along.

#74 Posted by VDV (8 posts) -

That was great! Quickly went to Youtube to see if there were more animated Bombcasts, and I must say, these are easily the best!

Glad somebody likes them! I got a lot of little complaints with people about that as if it was something I just overlooked, at this point I felt like I was taking a firm stance on beardears.

Yeah man, that's sincerely cool of you. Maybe, uh, maybe some more of you guys could learn a thing or, uh, two from geirr. G-guys.

#76 Posted by dudeglove (9431 posts) -

Also, apologies but I can't resist posting mine (again), although I'm finally glad someone infinitely more talented took on this part of the bombcast, as I was howling with laughter the first time I heard it. Everything the OP does is deliciously creepy. Brad's meat grill is a marvelous touch.

Oh dude, your version of that excerpt was totally my inspiration for this. I linked you as the Source Audio in my video description.

This. The animation was perfect, but I miss that duder...

I love the way in which the expressions you give in the animation are often not even remotely the way they originally delivered certain lines, and the result is you significantly revising the tone of a lot of the lines in some hilarious ways.

-Jeff incredibly nonchalantly lying down, sun-tanning, saying "Yeah, beer vapour".

-Jeff grinning like a psychopath when he says "It's really fucking dangerous"

-Turning Brad's "I got a turkey baster" into a literal offer to perform the act was pretty grotesque, in a great way

-Ryan looking nervous/stressed out at basically all times

-Patrick studiously taking notes was a great touch

I really like that they're just hanging out in some alley

#84 Edited by Hassun (3513 posts) -

Jeff's COME ON face is godlike. Desktop wallpaper worthy.

Also at the start I thought Brad was standing there because he had to pee (again).

I, for one, wholeheartedly support Beardears. Beardears are the X to this animation's Y, if you know what I mean...

#86 Edited by civid (695 posts) -

For some reason this reminds me of Hotline Maimi, don't know why though. Great work BTW you could try to make the "I WANNA RIDE ON DUMBO" conversation into a cartoon :)

My philosophy is i'm spending all this time animating a segment from the podcast, why the heck should I just painstakingly recreate exactly what happened in the recording room? Crazy cutaways and reinterpretations of what certain statements implied is what gives value to animating the podcast, to me anyway.

Creepy. OH GOD that song in the end WHAT IS THAT??
Where is that from? The Wire? What is that song?

It's very much in line with the Ricky Gervais Show approach; your first one, especially, in occasionally using the podcast room, is very similar to that show. Also, that's pretty much THE BEST SHOW.

...also, these are great.
