THIS IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT COMPLAINERS. Just letting that be known before any more of you point that out. I know.
Before I say anything I want to make this clear I am not the one moaning about the site. Over the past few weeks I have seen a huge influx of threads/Blogs going on about the amount of spam and bad behavior in the forums along with general complaints about the site, in particular the news articles. It's come to the point where the number of spam complaint threads has overtaken the number of actual spam threads. To the creators of such threads let me get this out the way: I understand your frustrations and that you wish for a improved community/Site but these threads really aren't helping anything.
Here is a typical example of what Im on about: This (I would come up with more if I could be bother to search through the forums)
Please stop making the same threads over and over. I don't really know what else to say, just remember that this community is a lot better than the majority of site out there and the mods are doing there best. As for the complaints about the staff and the work they do, the same applies, they are doing their best, there's no need to create countless threads about it.
Now to finish this rant about rants I propose that you leave your complaints in this thread. Hopefully this will work and I won't be left with 2 replies, both of which tell me "cool story bro".
Commence ranting!
PS: In the end it's just a website. About video games...

I'm pissed off because no quick looks have been posted today. Who the fuck do these guys think they are? Seriously. None were posted on Saturday or Sunday, and NOT ONE GODDAMN QUICK LOOK HAS BEEN POSTED TODAY!!! There should be at least five or twelve. This is an outrage!
Also, what's up with the Cloak and Dagger WUTANG? I always wanted to watch that movie when I was 8 or so, but never did. I was kinda excited to see Ryan's recap. Oh well!

First! Oh and too true, though im on here a bit, and rarely see any trolling/spam? mostly I stick with the Starcraft forums though, as im a bit obsessed atm.... and we must have a better class of gamer there.... that plays SC2.... erm.... yea

My guess is the Big Live Live Show Live is taking up some of their time. Eight hours of premium show probably requires insane amounts of preparation.

Check other forums, this is exactly what brings sites down, it's people making topics instead of commenting in topics already existing just because they...well, dunno, need more attention?

I was going to complain about something, but I just realized that adding Wonderful Universe to TANG spelled out WUTANG. Consider any previous complaints retracted.

@Djeffers03: You making this thread is just going to cause more people to bitch and argue.
But I do think the site has some problems, but every site does. I'd just like to see them fix some of these problems and add some more content before they start this whole paid membership thing. I would like to see the site get some consistency, I mean how do we not get a Red Dead review, but we get a Kane and Lynch one?
And I think people do have a right to complain to a point. I mean the staff is making their money off of us, and it is their job to make us happy. I think a lot of people have it in their heads that we are here to serve the staff, and that is kind of ridiculous.
But the complaints should be reasonable and well thought out.

@Feanor: The things you mentioned are totally legitimate things to complain about, Im mainly talking about multiple threads that complain about the state of the community and levels spam. These threads do nothing other than clog up the forums.

Guys don't get me wrong, we all have the right to complain about the site. Im pretty much specifically talking about complaint saying how GiantBomb and it's community is going down hill when pretty much nothing had changed.

Then take it up with the mods.
No offense, but you should know by now that making these kinds of threads just makes the issue worse.

As does everyone else who make those threads. I appreciate your sentiment, but like those threads, this probably won't change a thing.

@trophyhunter: Excuse my lack of knowledge but what's wrong with the off-topic forum? I find that section the most interesting personally, it's more laid back unlike this thread and is generally where most of the laughs come from (perhaps trolls too?) in my opinion.

just a big pile of spam. I just wish I could come to giantbomb and see talk about videogames for once.

Perhaps it's time for a complaints forum. I have a complaint. Frickin' neighbors think it's OK to start band practice at 11pm. Candy is getting too small and too expensive. The g'damn squirrels keep pissing in my bird bath.
