I don't know when it was changed but I just saw it and it felt like getting punched in the stomach.

I don't see how that is depressing? It's sad Ryan is gone, but he is, all that picture says to me is that although he is gone he is still there in actual spirit if that is what you choose to believe or metaphorical spirit which he totally is given how much people still talk about him and watch old videos with him.
It's rather nice as far as I'm concerned.

I agreed with ZolRoyce, I think it's a very sweet gesture.

I totally see where your coming from, and give you internet hugs duder. I miss Ryan too. <3

I wouldn't say it's depressing, but it does bring sad feelings.

A lil bit, yea. RIP Ryan.

Everybody dies, and most people are soon forgotten. I was of course really sad when Ryan passed, but remembering him in that awesome image is a testament to how much life the duder actually lived. I think it's great.

The image was sourced from a community thread on here I believe.

It wasn't depressing for me because he was never forgotten. I like how the original crew are together on the right side, wish Vinny was in there.

It reminds me of the end of Return of the Jedi.

Sad picture but its a nice gesture.

Long live Giantbomb

I really do miss him. He was pretty special.

I'd rather we continue to acknowledge his greatness rather pretend than we didn't lose him.

Never forget and Summer Jams forever.

Is his drawing intentionally de-saturated? Is that what you're talking about?

When I first saw it all I could think about was the poor guy that had to photoshop that image. Every pixel change must have been a nightmare of emotions.

All duders miss Ryan.

At least he's now omnipotent and gets to play all and every vidja game that's ever released or will be released.

Ryan's gone, but not forgotten. I think that image suits that description quite well.

It's definitely a bit sad, but it does seem like a nice tribute. He's still part of the crew. There is no Giant Bomb without his impact. And considering how many of those past Twitch videos he is in, it's very fitting.

Does anyone have the original picture? Been looking to change it from an old Bombcast picture.

I love that little touch.

Makes me wish ghost Ryan was haunting the offices. I would love all the evil pranks he would pull during livestreams and stuff.

Why you gotta do this to me man?

it would be way more depressing if he weren\t in it.

It is sad but I think it is good he is still a very important part of Giant Bomb.

Ryan is still a part of the Bomb Squad.

I like the picture, it's a nice way of saying Ryan will always be with them, and always in our hearts.

Sad, but fitting.

No duder, you're missing the point. Removing him from everything would be the saddest thing possible. Keeping him a part of Giant Bomb this way is very endearing. Like how @lackingsaint made Ryan the sun at the end of his latest video.

Sure it's sad, but hey it's a great reminder that Ryan will always be a part of Giant Bomb.
