Give me your Sunshine and Smiles!!

I noticed that @rorie posted a sticky about Sunshine and Smiles week, here on Giant Bomb dot com. To kombat some of the negativity surrounding games lately, I think this is a fantastic idea. I want to see some of the good things people are doing around the site this week, like the community spotlight but throughout the whole week.

Alas, the sticky is a locked post and I haven't found a thread to help us celebrate. A dedicated place to post some positive things you've encountered on the internet. Stories, videos, images, songs, internet encounters, etc. Maybe you posted a blog about smiling. You know, happy shit!

So let's turn that frown upside down, I say!

Discovered while watching an episode of Top Gear several years ago. Makes me pretty happy.

Oh man, reminds me of my guinea pig from when I was a kid. Unfortunately, we had to leave him when I was 5 and came to America.

For my own contribution to the positivity train I'll shine a spotlight on ex-CBSi employee Ian Kelly. Seems like even after his departure from GB I keep seeing him pop up to help out with tech stuff just because he's a cool, helpful dude. The above tweets are a couple recent examples. One for the upcoming charity streams, and one helping Brad stitch together his videos of the Destiny raid.

Knowing that @rorie is a fan of sleater kinney made me smile enough. He name dropped them in his sunshine post. So here's that.

Happiness is listening to an old video game sound track from my youth and still getting that 'HECK YEAH WOOO!' feeling from it. Also this bean dog has a mustache.

This is truly one of my favorite videos, I watch it whenever I'm feeling a bit down. NEVER GIVE UP!

This newly-released ending to Little Shop of Horrors makes me so happy.

After being very sick for most of my life, I was finally able to graduate from University.

On another happy note, I recently found out that I'm no longer diabetic (I reversed it) and I'm not back in the pre stages and was even taken off my medication for it. My thyroid has also started working again like normal. Oh and Homestar runner is suppose to be back again for reals just not as often. If that isn't happy news I don't know what is.
