IT'S OUT. The second wave of Lucas Arts games has been released. The highlight for me is definitely X-wing Alliance and i'm not 100% sure if i should even bother with X-wing Vs. Tie Fighter, maybe wait for a sale on that one.

Also, it looks like in two days from now they'll be releasing another wave of Lucas Arts Games. After Alliance though, i can't think of any other Lucas Arts game I want other than Grim Fandango, which isn't coming until the 27th.

What Lucas Arts games are you looking forward to coming to GOG?

It will never happen, but a PC version of Mercenaries would be awesome.

Awesome, I've been waiting for a legal way to play Galactic Battlegrounds.

@fustigate: Was looking at Galactic Battlegrounds, GOG reviewer said it was Age of Empires but with Star Wars, which sounds good to me.

@kaiserreich: I wonder how they handle console releases, or if they can. Come to think of it, i wouldn't mind picking up Rogue Squadron. There was a PC release of the first one but all the rest were console only, if i remember right.

@brandondryrock: oh wow, i didn't know that was a Lucas Arts game.

I already own Dark Forces and Jedi Knight II, but I'm all in for X-Wing Alliance and XvT. Those games obviously aren't as historically significant as X-Wing or TIE Fighter, but they're still damn fun games.

@cloudymusic: I wonder if they'll get GOG Galaxy integration at some point. I had expected GOG to hold onto X-wing Alliance and XvT until the full unavailing of their Galaxy system. As is, there's just a link to a dead website. Dunno if the local networking stuff works, but Alliance is good for single player, can't say how good Balance of Power is though.
