I was more of a Remote Mines kind of guy. Proximity mines weren't that much fun since I had no reason to sit close by them to see the dudes blow up :( So I ended up using Remote mines instead since I now had a reason to sit there and wait for dudes to run by and get blown the fuck up :D That made it worth the wait, and of course me being the one controlling who dies or not.. Good times
I probably enjoyed Goldeneye more. But seriously, have you played either of those games in the past few years. Holy shit they've aged horribly. I'm intrested to see how the XBLA Perfect Dark is received.
Was a big fan of both at the time but it has to go for Perfect Dark. The only thing setting those games back was the framerate (PD's 15fps is unplayable nowadays).
Still to this day I don't know, I loved both games equally. I played both of them to death. I played the multiplayer for both games to death. I just don't know.
perfect dark was better. a lot of people played golden eye more. to me they were pretty much the same game except different things in perfect dark. rare added a lot of maps from golden eye to perfect dark.
I... I... I never played Perfect Dark multiplayer! By then, all my friends had moved away! Still, I think Perfect Dark was a better game in most ways. It really took all the great things about Goldeneye and polished them up and made an even better campaign. Though, Goldeneye was just so awesome for it's time. I had so many great times with the multiplayer. It's hard for me to vote against it, so I won't.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil... just kidding. Goldeneye gets my vote. Perfect Dark was great, but it seemed the multiplayer was where it was at in that game. I never liked multiplayer games, still don't.
