GotG Round 1: Dota 2 vs. League of Legends

I just think it's absolutely hilarious how willfully ignorant people are being and how shitty the level of discourse got within the first page. It's worse than System Wars.

I went from having never played a MOBA before to having several hundred hours of Dota 2. I think that is a testament to its quality.

Sometimes I wish these games were less of a time investment to truly understand, as somone who actually knows both games, seeing this irrational hate is just painful. Chill out guys, they are both really good! And this bracket is just for fun.

As far as I'm concerned DOTA 2 is just a better game than LoL. Yes, blah blah opinions but I really struggle to see otherwise.

Graphically/art: DOTA 2 (higher quality models, animations and textures)

Gameplay depth: DOTA 2 (last hits, line of sight)

Cash shop: DOTA 2 (items can obtained through trading, drops and leveling, items are interchangable, more variety)

Availability of features: DOTA 2 (all heroes are available at start, no runes to grind)

Need some pepper in here to even up the salt

You realise League has last hits and line of sight right? If anything that argument should have been denies/stacking or something. Though any argument like this is moot anyways, so meh.
