Guitar/drums question

Will a Guitar hero 3 guitar work with rockband 1. And will Rockband 2 drums work with rockband 1?
 
I only put this question here because 3 games are listed and I hope that counts as general.

Edit: as long as it's not for wii, yes. wii got some weird issues going on for those games
