Trying to get back onto topic: Wish I had my 360 back, because I would have rented Halo 3 just to play with you guys. I sadly have a small craving to play some Halo 3. :\
I almost forgot how much I suck at multiplayer FPS's. Thanks for the reminder, guys. Couldn't stay as long as I would've liked, but had a good time anyway. Till next time...
P.S. Normandy map is impossible. Life expectancy from water to beach is approximately 20 seconds. No lie.
Went pretty well, we had a steady rotation of about 8-10 people for three-three and a half hours, then things dropped down to six or so. We played for about another hour, then two people dropped. After that, me TokyoChicken, DualReaver, and Discosi attempted an epic Vidmaster Annual run. Me, TC, and Discorsi were on the final stretch in ghosts, about to take the final jump and Dual died, triggering a chorus of curses and NOOOOOOOOO!'s. We never really recovered, and about 30 minutes later Dual quit in a bitch move, leaving us without our zero-point achievement. (Well, leaving them without their zero-point achievement, I already have mine).
wow i was up until half 5 playing halo with you guys... thank god for lie ins is all i can say.
btw guys the normandy map sucked hard for the attackers but it allows for epic viewing in theater. also i beat lies in snowbound FFA :D. his very words when i was at 24 points "DO NOT LET CRUNCH WIN LET ME WIN INSTEAD". in hte end we faced EACH OTHER for the final point and while he got the drop on me first i jumped up onto the base and started spamming a grenade and carbining him. it was SO close, but lies's clip ran out and he ate a headshot and crunch won.
and i'm surew there are many more stories to be told but we played so many games i honestly can't quite remember. but it inolved me, dualreaver, a crate and a splatter spree
