Halo Combat Evolved has a godawful single-player, do you agree?

I don't even think it has the best campaign in the series but I picked it anyways because it was better than "average" and "meh", at the time, which are both pretty much the same option.

Yeah, D and C are exactly the same thing. But I picked D. I enjoyed it, but I got into the Halo series slightly late, and therefore, Combat Evolved didn't all that big an impact on me.
