any arguments about "true" fans of anything are moronic. If people like it, then they like it. No one cares if you love FPS games more than the other guy. FPSs are supposed to be fun, and if you like them then you like them. Either you are a troll (most probable), or you believe this. If you're the second, then you're terribly misguided. There IS no such thing as a true fan of anything. At best, you could say that Halo fans don't appreciate the history of FPSs, but even then that wouldn't be true because plenty of Halo fans have been playing FPSs from the beginning, maybe even longer than you, the so called "hardcore" FPS fan.
