Hey guys, what's the hardest game you've beaten or heard of?
Hardest game you've beaten
i heard of a lot of hard games but honestly haven't beaten much.
i play games for fun not really for the challenge.
on the top of my head, the most frustrating periods i had when playing a game was beating GTA:SA.
The story missions are whack.
man there was some rage to be had but super satisfying to complete. incredible game!
Ninja Gaiden Black probably.
And I have all gold medals in Wipeout HD/Fury and Burnout 3?
I don't know, I'm generally not willing to make the effort for stupid-hard games.
Never. Again.
Probably would have to say Contra back in the NES days, man that game was hard.... Hell I even had to use a 30 lives trick to get it done.... Or then there was Super Ghouls and Ghost and that I needed Game Genie's unlimited lives to finish the game, that was a long day.
You kids now a days never had it so easy, its like the developers want you to beat there games.
Life.
That's right. I won at the game of LIFE.
Oh who am I kidding, I'm still in university in my parents basement.
Just kill me.
Actraiser 2 for the SNES. It took me months, literally. I'd only play maybe a half hour a day, just chipping away, but I couldn't do much more than that without getting completely frustrated. Game was just wrong hard. Designed by sociopaths. Some others that I gave up on that I'd like to try to finish sometime: The Adventures of Bayou Billy, Ninja Gaiden for XBOX, and Ikaruga.
Devil Survivor. I'll leave it at that. Honorable mentions go to the Seven....um.....Butt Blasters for being the hardest boss I've ever encountered.
I don't know. Ultra-hard games are often poorly designed in one way or another (Ninja Gaiden, I'm looking at you and your fucking camera), and when a game is frustrating and poorly designed, I usually don't finish it. I mean, why go through the pain when succeeding isn't even fun?
I finished Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix's Arcade mode on Expert, though. Got some good blisters doing that. Oh, and I played through Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on Very Hard with the Lv. 1 level cap. Those two are probably the hardest games I've beaten.
Honorable mentions go to all the 8-bit Mega Man games.
I think you win the tread." Nethack. Purely by luck, since it's such a random game. But I like to think that my natural charm and good looks had something to do with it. "
For me, idk, I've beaten every Megaman and people say some of those are hard. Also DMC3. Can't really think of anything else though....
Getting through the full 1000G completion on The Last Remnant was really difficult, though the game itself was easy. I had to reset that sand dungeon so many times...
Well, resistance 1 is an a**hole becuase of the space between the checkpoints, and I beat that in a co-op marathon...
Thats all I got.
" Probably would have to say Contra back in the NES days, man that game was hard....
Oh shit yeah. Beating it without 30 lives was a bitch. But oh so satisfying.
The hardest game, or more frustrating? Most recent was beating COD World At War on veteren, just because of the 2 ridiculously infuriating levels in that game. I would say beating any of the old text adventure Info com games was never easy, especially if you didnt draw the map correct, and i did beat Ultima 3 which was not easy.

Demon's Souls.
Well, okay so the game isn't as hard as people fear.
Of course I played most of the 4 player co-op content on Monster Hunter offline (i.e. Solo), which made most games relatively less punishing. (It's much easier co-op)
I never been the guy to do those meta gamey stuff, but I commend you for trying.
I don't know if Ninja Gaiden 2 was the hardest game I ever beat... but it was certainly the most frustrating.
" I beat Devil Mary Cry 3 on Dante's Must Die mode. So DMC 3 I guess. "Me too. This I guess.
