Yep... Ending of MGS4 and Valkyria Chronicles.
MANLY TEARS!
Has a game ever made you cry before?
A bit at the end of Layton 3, as much as I don't like to admit it. :|
Can't remember any other times off the top of my head.

" 'Snake... had a hard life.' ;_____________________; "Yes he did... yes he did. The ending of MGS4 really fucked you up if you had played all the games in the Solid series.
" Nope. Maybe I'm just playing the wrong games but I don't really feel any kind of emotion in games. Like I might think 'that is sad' or but I don't actually get sad. I smiled at the end of Uncharted 2. That's about it. "No, there's maybe a handful of games that contain any kind of emotional content.
" At the end of Okami, but that was a mix of joy and sadness. I was happy because it all ended good, and in a beautiful way, but at the same time I was sad that it had to end. Yes, I am a girl :'( "Hoshit, I was about to say Okami and expect a ton of shit for it!
I have cried a few times (but I'm a total sap haha) but not often. I just normally get that lump in my throat and I just kind of hold back the tears.
One game that made me cry was .... Legend of Dragoon.... a certain scene in the first disc killed me.
I can't get as emotionally invested in games as i can in movies. Lifeless video game eyes don't help.
" Final Fantasy VI almost made me, and not in any of the areas you'd expect. "Aaaaaaaaaah yeah
" The ending of MGS3
Like a little bitch
Also the ending to Duck Hunt was pretty brutal

LMAO!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That is fucking awesome.
Nope. Never. It's probably because I'm a sociopathic robot. Or maybe an autistic sociopathic robot. Or maybe I don't play the right kind of games.
Ending of MGS3. The ultimate fuck you ending. The game literally robs you of any feeling of success or accomplishment. Yeah, you beat the game, but you didn't win. You only feel used and a little depressed.
Never really, but the closest I've come is probably in Gears 2 with Dom's wife. I know. Still not quite sure why, just seemed pretty effective at the time.
Final Fantasy VII
I got very, very close in Persona 4, MGS4, and Digital: A Love Story. The only games that ever get me in that sort of mood are ones where I'm super invested in the characters and really care about their ordeals, which, frankly, doesn't happen a whole lot. MGS4 is probably the closest of the lot to making me cry, simply because in that scene, you're not just watching it unfold, but directly participating in it. As Kowbrainz also mentioned, I found the ending for the third Layton game to be surprisingly depressing and poignant, which I wasn't expecting, considering the series' overall lighthearted tone. It doesn't feel out of place in that game, but I was certainly expecting some aspects of that ending to pan out more happily for the cast than they actually did.
@cjmabry: By the way, I made this Photoshop in response to another thread about the arbitrary nature of inserting achievements into climactic RPG moments. You'll probably either appreciate it or completely hate me for it.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
I got really teary eyed when you play as the female protagonist in Persona 3, get your max social link with Shinjiro only to have him get shot and fall into a coma. It was my first time playing Persona 3 so it was really surprising building up a warm relationship and having him get shot :(
