I have but I don't really anymore. If that was an option i'd choose that.

I was just wondering how much of the Giantbomb community have played MMOs. Me personally, I've never played one for a number of reasons but if one does catch my eye I might give it a shot.

I played WoW for 11 000 hours

But now I just dabble in them.

I played WoW for an insane amount. Pretty much most of my free time from 2004-2008. Yeesh. Now I'll never play one again.

Wny do you need the opinions of strangers to confirm whether or not you want to play an MMO? Just pick one up and play.

I'm not looking for prodding to try one.

Same here. I've dumped maybe 7-8 months into EVE Online and maybe 1 month into WoW. That's given me enough time to figure out that I'm not really that into MMOs

I've never really been super into one, but I've dabbled in them from time to time.

No I haven't played an MMO yet for 2 reasons.

1. MMO's require 100s of hrs and I've got other games that I want to be playing.

2. All MMO's I wanna try out like, WoW and ToR, require a monthly fee that I'm not willing to pay for.

That said the move to free to play may just sway me to try one in the future. That way I can play an MMO for a few weeks and can take a break to play something else without wasting $15 a month on something I'm not using at the time. We'll see. I'm very interested though...
