Zelda(Truly my favorite), Resident Evil, Splinter Cell, Hitman, Metal Gear Solid, Max Payne, God of War, Viewtiful Joe, The Suffering, Halo, Metal Slug, Prince of Persia, Ninja Gaiden, Red Dead Revolver, Conker, GTA(Vice City is the best), True Crime( not the 2nd, 2nd one was broken)
Loved all of the games in all those series, i might have forgotten some though.
Have you ever truly loved a game or series?
There was one game that I enjoyed a lot, I don't know if i'll go so far as to say love it, because I'm fairly burnt out on it, but Chromehounds. I logged hundreds of hours on that game, I just thought that the concept of this persistent online conquest was badass, because that's what I dreamed an awesome game would be like. It had some fundamental idea's that I like, even though there were some serious flaws with it...
" You mean, like, have I ever stuck my dick in the disc and tried to fuck it? No. That's weird, Claude. "Well, I would hope your dick would crack the disk. If not, that makes me so sad. You have WASD tattooed on your fucking fingers. Don't tell me you have never loved a game or series.
Half-Life, and I guess for all it's faults Guitar Hero. I've had so much fun with those games ever since the first one, even if the level of fun has decreased with every release since World Tour. I think I have to say Rock Band too, because it's pretty much the same, but often better thing.
Metal Gear Solid for a series that I got really emotionally invested in.
Earthbound is probably my most beloved game of all time. Despite the fact that I've beaten it...four or five times and it's basically the same game throughout, I always look forward to the NEXT time I'm going to play through it just because I loooove the charm of it.
GTA, Halo, Command And Conquer, and Pokemon would probably be my top ones. I've played each (except for GTA) from the very first game and onwards.
Edit: Oh yeah, Mercenaries and Mercenaries 2. Loved both games. Replayed them like, 20 times each. Even for all the problems the second one had, I loved it, and can't wait for Mercs 3.
" Sly, Zelda, and maybe Pokemon. "Nice... i never see people who mentioned sly cooper as a Loved franchise. we are some of the few :(
"I totally forgot about Mario Kart. Love the series and the games. Always a buy, no matter what, unless it's on a portable.Mario Kart is the best game on the SNES and possibly ever. The series has yet to disappoint me.
Gran Turismo, all have been great but 4 was a low point for the series.
Twisted Metal ruled my PS1 like no other series did, except for the ones that were made by 989.
MGS has the best story telling in all games.
"
Half-Life, Halo, and Metal Gear.
Always win, always an easy flight in. No need to stop at go. Pre-order any day, just let me know. An easy way in, the hard way out. Those are 3 titles I can't be apart.
My best gaming experience ever. Was MGS3 and HALO2. Back to back, I never knew. They blew my mind, set me free. Those worlds cracked an egg over my head. The way you can't understand, if you don't see.
Immersion is the key.
