Heavy Rain made me buy a PS3

  Yup, I tried the demo and I was sold. I have now joined the other side without any remorse. Am I welcomed? 
 
Ok for the true intention of this post: What other games should I buy? I've already acquired MGS4, and I plan on buying Flower, Uncharted 2, and Killzone 2. Any recommendations? :)  I am only interested in PS3 exclusives.

Go check release date list, from end 06 to now check out exclusive and what might interest you, there is a ton of great exclusives. I presonally highly recommend Infamous loved it. Latest Ratchtet: ACITime is awesome. Demon Souls Gamespots GOTY, Valkyria Chronicle fan favorite. A lot of amazing exclusives, can't remember them all atm.

Umm... get Folklore. LBP maybe, it's really floaty and weird feeling though. 
 
I bought my PS3 for one game as well (MGS4) and that was at MGS4 launch. I now only own 7 games for my PS3, and 53 for my 360. It's kind of sad really... :( 
 
But among those 7 games is an absolute gem... Demon's Souls! GET IT!

Whenever such a thread pops up I always suggest to try and get hold of a copy of Folklore. It's a great game and a PS3 exclusive. Everyone else should take care of the obvious ones.

I know the feeling :)...Killzone 2 made me purchase a PS3
 
Make sure you pick up Uncharted 1 and 2.

I second Infamous... also you should check out Uncharted 1 before playing Uncharted 2.. as it can be pretty hard to go back.

Heavy Rain made me buy another ps3.......... My first one broke I needed to get that Shenmue feeling again.

Demon's Souls can not be overlooked..

I bought mine for LBP.
inFamous, Uncharted and Unchrted 2 would be what I consider the "must plays".
 
...I should really get around to playing Killzone 2 at some point.

 
Cool, now play the game, record it and put it on YouTube in HD format!

I'd definitely get LittleBigPlanet. 
Infamous, Demons Souls and Valkyria Chronicles are also good choices.
Some good PSN exclusives are Fat Princess, Shatter and Wipeout HD.

Uncharted 2, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 2....then pick up a copy of Infamous.
 
You won't be disappointed.

In addition to what others have said... Get and play Uncharted 1 before 2. Both are awesome but it helps to follow the characters from the start (2 is magnitudes better though). The God of War collection (and GOW 3 in a few weeks). Warhawk is great, not sure how active it still is though. The Resistance games are great too. Infamous. GT 5 (when/if it ever comes out :-/).
 
Some great downloadable stuff on PSN: Wipeout HD, Gravity Crash, Super Stardust HD, Shatter. 
 
The PS3 has some really unique titles with vastly varying styles. The great variety really keeps my interested and having fun.

Impulse!  Good for you.  Take a look at God of War 3, and also Gran Turismo 5 (I don't care if you don't like racing sims, it's not the most technical sim out there and it's got SO much content!).

Whether you like heavy rain a lot or not, there are far more and better games on the platform that than it, actually worth getting a system for .

Wipeout HD, MGS4, Infamous, Flower, The pixeljunk games, Uncharted 2, Shatter, Heavy Rain. Valkyria Chronicles, Ratchet and Clank.
 
That's pretty much it for me. I was dissapointed by LBP and KZ2. And I don't find Demon's Souls fun. Resistance 1 and 2 is pretty fun but not worth it to me. The first Uncharted is nothing compared to the sequel, but still decent. Folklore isnt that great. There are much better games than Heavenly Sword in its genre. Racing sims are boring and I don't know why anyone likes them, better off getting Burnout rather than GT5...
 
But The Last Guardian and FFVXIII look cool. I thought that God of War 1 and 2 were overrated and vastly prefer DMC but GoW 3 looks pretty good.

Aint nuttin to it, Heavy Rain made me do it.

I've already played Infamous which was amazing. I might check out God of War 3, but I'm not a big fan of that type of gameplay (Isn't Heavenly Sword also like that btw?). 
 
@pause422: I disagree. The demo was amazing, and just like the first half of Fahrenheit, which I've been wanting in a whole game since I first played it.

I did the same thing last year when Uncharted 2 came out & although I still do most of my gaming on the 360, there are some fantastic exclusives on the PS3 now. Other than the stuff you've already mentioned I would also get inFamous, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time & the original Uncharted, all great games.  

Infamous was an amazing game !  :)  Make sure to get Uncharted 2 as well.

Well, Heavy Rain will definitely only last you like 15 hours tops, so after that you NEED to get Demon's Souls, it's the best game from last year. In my opinion.

I bought mine for LBP and really regretted it (not the console, but the game).  I would recommend trying it out, but it's definitely not a game for everyone.
Yet I still download all the free costumes..
 
inFamous is really amazing, that's one you definitely have to get, and I'd say play the first Uncharted before moving onto the second.  Not really necessary, but it should help you appreciate the second one a lot more.  It would be like playing Mass Effect 2 and then the original..  Just doesn't have the same affect.

I'm in a similar position with  Heavy Rain - it's almost single-handedly tempting me to buy a PS3 but Flower, Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet and a number of others make it seem worthwhile.
 
Actually yeah, I totally agree with 'Jeust' about Heavenly Sword.  I've only read the reviews but it seems the only real issue with that game was it's length which is something like 5-6 hours.  Story and voice acting's supposed to be good and the action solid so at the lower price it will now be it's well worth it I reckon.
