I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to recommend any good gaming podcasts I could subscribe to via Itunes.  I was looking down the list of gaming podcasts on Itunes and there was an overwhelming amount - had no idea which ones were worth subscribing to.  I'd like to hear from you guys and try out some of your suggestions.  Thanks

Maybe you should write to the guys at MBMBaM and ask their opinion, then listen to their podcast to hear what advice they've got for you.

I only listen to the Bombcast and Destructoid's Podtoid, but they haven't done a Podtoid in over a month, I think. It's a real bummer. But I get my share of non-audio Nicholson here at Giant Bomb now, so everything's just fine.

Well for gaming the ones I usually try to catch are:

- Idle Thumbs - Pretty much the funniest podcast around when it comes to gaming. I even recommend listening through their old episodes from like 2008, even though they're a bit outdated they're still fantastic, it's great if you're bored at work. Chris Remo's parody songs are hilarious. Only problem is that they don't release them often enough. But they're worth the wait.

- Weekend Confirmed - Feels like old 1up yours in a way.  Decent with some great guests like Adam Sessler.

- Sarcastic Gamer Podcast - Very well produced show (the guys doing it work in radio) with a good sense of humor. Bite-sized and very lighthearted but always funny.

I take it you already know about the giant bombcast.

@ChristianCastillo: The makers of the podcast frequently mention how crap it is. Also, if it's not good for gaming news, it's at least a great place for pop culture conversations and the infectious sound of Dave Clayman's nutty laughter.

Also, Bitmob's Mobcast is a pretty cool podcast. It's lean, entertaining and I like the format.

That half hour a week I get with the 2 brothers and the fake brother / devil child is one of the best half hours I have every week other than Giantbomb.  Go listen to MBMBaM, they have like 7 episodes out for you to enjoy and really instill some life lessons in a very short period of time.  I am enjoying screened, but thats mostly cause I like Alex and Rorie from Gamespot.
