Whatever. Star Wars is dead.
And Star Trek killed it.
Here's This Year's New Star Wars Game
reminds me of why i hated the prequels so much. like how they practically made yodas voice sound like a parody. it was no where near that forced in empire strikes back, he only talked backwords when he wanted to say something really wise, other than that he spoke normal. in the prequels everything he says sounds like a fucking riddle.
Ugh.. god.. why! WHY!
Lucas Arts goes from Force Unleashed to this crap? Seriously? The Clone Wars is horrid. Just horrid. They almost reinvigorated Star Wars games with the Force Unleashed. The story was good, they just made some gameplay mistakes. They just reversed all the good that they did do by now putting out this. Grrrr! *sigh*
I'm tired of Star Wars, all this shit is actually making me hate the originals too...which I haven't seen in years. Way too much exposure. Once George Lucas started relying on CG too much, it was all downhill from there. The newer Star Wars movies had so much fucking CG animation I felt like I was playing a game already anyway. It only made sense when it became ENTIRELY CG, a natural progression...into a dumbed down Disney/Pixar Star Wars universe. I couldn't even watch this video, I had to stop it after the first few words Yoda said. George Lucas should go fuck himself...he should know how, he's had plenty experience fucking his own franchises to death.
I foolishly thought that the footage at the beginning was rendered in real time, piqued my interest quite a bit. I thin it's smart that the holders of the Star Wars IP are pushing media with that stylized look, as it'll go well in the stuff that they're releasing now. Their Cartoon Network show is about the best looking thing on that channel (though I haven't see enough to speak to the quality of its storytelling). I can see video games coming very, very close to the TV show in their graphical fidelity. This game, though, doesn't.
