At the end there alot of people seemed to think it had reached the end of it's short lifespan, I still mostly enjoyed them, sending in a couple videos, remember that one dude who just sent long ass videos...
Lemon, Bee, that one guy who looked like a real young alex N saying no...
QOTW was never good. I got my fat 2008 ass on camera and chugged a coke. They should take that video down.
That was probably the only QoTW that I liked and it's the very first one (I think), I quickly stopped watching it after that to only be reminded why I stopped after the occasional check ins every month or so.
I do remember QOTW. They were sometimes good but mostly horrible. That video just reminded me that there hasn't been much green screen shenanigans lately and that makes me sad. This site was built on "Hey we got a green screen, guys! Let's do something dumb with it!"

AND ROCK AND ROLLLLOOOHHLLL"
I'd actually present another argument, was this website built on the shenanigans, or Vinnys editing?

I liked it, but then again, I was features on it. The question was about what we did when we aren't playing video games. I am a MMA fighter, so they showed clips from one of my fights.

I came to this site about a month or two before they got rid of it all together. I was unemployed at the time, living in a house with my friends, and I had/have an interest in video production so I decided to make a submission one week. Since I'm a bit better known on the site now, I figure I could share it again.
I was a little chubby at the time, be kind.
It was a bit rushed, and I was just using a handheld camera late at night.
Alan Wake had just come out, and they were in the midst of the Deadly Premonition Endurance Run, so lots of references.
The topic was something about how far you'd go to bring them a sandwich if you were an intern.
That's all you need to know. Looking back, it's a bit embarrassing. But check out my pimp-ass house!
In the end, Drew and I emailed back and forth a bit. He had some kind words to say, and gave me some advice on my future in video production (which hasn't really materialized, as I needed money and took a Paralegal job). Still hoping to get back into, and learning more about, video production in the future.
The main problems with QotW were two-fold. 3 days to film a video was too short to produce anything meaningful or entertaining, and... let's face it, most of the community at the time wasn't very interesting. I'd still welcome a highly edited QotM segment, but I doubt they'd get enough quality submissions to make it worthwhile.

Hold,
The fucking phone.
You're talking about one of the best Eras of the Giant Bomb Community, there were heaps of cool interesting people,
Cool video though
Haha, well I guess I meant the ones motivated to post videos. Like I said, I came in at the tail-end, but for the most part I remember a bunch of 15 year old kids hitting each other in their garage or making poop related jokes while desperately trying to avoid showing their faces on camera. Do you have any particular favorites I can go back to?

Sure, what could possibly go wrong?
I believe this sort of thing is not brought up for the same reason the ... *ahem* other piece of unmentionable content is not mentioned. You know the one.
Bring back TANG, though, and have Alex the Movie Guy do it.

I remember all of these. QOTW was mostly trash but I still watched because you knew most weeks you'd have the few regulars to depend on like Lemon & Dirty Dan, Bee, and that guy that always just shoot his head and said "No."

Nooooo
This is a Ryan thing
Sure, Ryan would still do it exceptionally well, but Alex has an inherent ability to be entertaining while being wildly critical.
How about we settle at the middle ground of "They should bring back TANG, or even WUTANG"?
