No reason not to get it now. It'll be my first Hitman game, so I guess that makes me impervious to the disappointment felt by a lot of the franchise's fans.
Hitman Absolution $12.50 on GMG
$2.50?...mmm i played like half it on 360. Still not worth it! Lololololol.... but really, I really didn't like a lot of that game. One part specifically when you are going down these cliffs with a bunch of army guys around. Horrible. Any other deals...I shall see.
mmm Chivalry is super cheap too...too bad I just bought it. Worth the buy.

Oh man yeah, that part was really crummy. Hell, the whole game was very hit-and-miss.
I liked Hitman: Absolution. The stealth was admittedly less Hitman, more Deus Ex, but if you take it as that you can probably enjoy it.

I took it as it is and there were still portions of that game that I disliked an awful lot. The disguise and checkpoints systems were downright broken, which made it all the more harder to forgive how incredibly simplified and linear it was when compared to previous games in the series.
Seems about the right price, I didn't even finish the game and I payed a lot more when it came out. Too bad it couldn't be more like Blood Money.
@yummylee: I can't say I really minded the checkpoints all that much, but I agree completely on the disguise system being god-awful.
Also, for a game that tried to tell a story, it did a pretty bad job. Which sucks, because the first act of the game showed some actual potential.
