with the announcement of sonic4 i was inspired to go back and play the original, which i had previously downloaded via xbla. However, when i booted up my xbox, i realized that a large portion of my arcade games are now labelled as trials, and the full game is unplayable. I'm fairly certain this has something to do with content being tied to the console on which it was downloaded, and because im on my 3rd, this would make sense. So, how do i fix this?

Are you connected to the internet when you try to them? Sometimes arcade games are a little buggy when used on other consoles. If not you might also want to try a license transfer on Xbox.com to bring over all of your arcade games to your new console.

@21stCenturyJesus:
I've have the same problem, I think there is some way to transfer it so they will play but I don't remember the details of how.
A quick solution though is to just be connected to xbox  live, they will work then.
