I think story and gameplay are more important than graphics

For me graphics don't have to be amazing if the art-style is right. Gameplay over graphics any day.

I'm actually not a fan of photorealism in video games.  I wish developers would take a much more stylized approach to their graphics.

Not very important. If they were, then my blog would implode.

not so much the tech, but I appreciate well-built and interesting artwork. It could be a 2D scroller but if the artwork is good it's 10/10 gfx. Crappy looking art torpedoes a game for me pretty much no matter what the gameplay is. Minecraft is a pretty good example.

if a game is great, and has great graphics- things like Uncharted 2 happen. so i think its very important. that game may not have been as awesome without the graphics.

Not especially important.

I typically fill the time between the bigger releases I look forward to with the likes of Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup, IVAN and various MUDS/MOOs. Should probably stop because I do have a decently sized backlog of games to play aside from those, but they're addictive despite their simplistic/lack of graphics.

I certainly like pretty things to look at, but if the gameplay is good enough I can do without the shiny stuff.

I just want to know what's going on. It bugs me if I can't read the text on my SD TV, but otherwise I don't care. Never watched a Bluray either.

Depends on what type of game.
Games like Saints Row 2, graphics don't bother me much.

If its first person adventure games where the setting is one of the most important looking things in order to get the atmosphere correct. Well I guess that kind of explains itself.

I play Doom on a regular basis. I'm just about to start playing Deus Ex and I'm finishing up on VVVVVV. Graphics aren't important to me.
