How many games do you buy a year?

I buy like 25 games a year, so D.

5-10. I typically buy games with great multiplayer so I stay entertained for quite a while.

Depends on whether you mean new games or not... I tend to buy lots of older games in sales and stuff but only 2-3 new games per year.

5-10, but most of them are older games, or downloadable games. I probably buy 1-4 new games a year

I buy clearance and specials (and the odd used), so I get a lot more than average.  A reasonable estimate over the last 8 years would be about 70 games a year.  At  least 60 of those would be new, but only 5-10 would be new release.

To many for a person that has been out of work for more than a year. I would say maybe 20-25, if it is over 25 then wow. most of the games I buy are used, I get 5-10 new game.

It usually averages out to about one a month.  Around 11-13

Usually between 5 and 10 new games a year.  Old used games that are cheap can double that number depending on the price, quality and availability.

Usually 15-20 so im thinking my option is C.5 (theres nothing for between 15 and 20)

D. I like buying the odd new release as well as to download old games from Steam, such as Max Payne 1/2, Psychonauts, Half Life, KOTOR, Beyond Good and Evil etc. They're awesome and they're cheap so I can get loads :D

Pretty much every major release on all 3 consoles and PC, with some exceptions, I also tend to buy alot of games when they are reduced in price, but i'd say around the 35-45 per year mark, over the past month or so i've picked up halo wars, force unleashed, bionic commando, uncharted 2, wolfenstien, mirrors edge, batman AA, call of juarez 2, ODST, Fifa 10, Resistance 2 and red faction guerrilla, so I tend to get through alot of games and it would be rare that a week goes by without something arriving through my letter box.

I rarely buy brand new games, unless I'm super-hyped for them, but I do get a lot of used games from ebay and Amazon Marketplace.  I also rent a LOT of games, so I can try out just about anything.

A couple a year. Now, if this included rented games, it would be a lot more for me.

I buy 20 plus games a year and sometimes i dont even play them, not enough time and by time i get a chance to play them i just have no desire cause there old.

About 50 I guess, but only about 10 of those will be full-price launch-window purchases.  I'd say the average price per game is probably only around £10-£15.
 
I have never rented a game.

Since I bought my PS3 in October or so of last year i have acquired 30 or so PS3 games, another 25 PS2 and another 25 PS1. So ya, the last one. Not to mention I also bought a bunch of PC, DS and PSP games.

One or Two new full priced games, and 3 to 5 low priced games.

5-10 new releases, with a few reduced-price games. I'm picky with my collection of games these days as I don't trade.

10-15.  Craigslist is likely to change that though.  Just because its old doesn't mean its horrible.

10-15, but that includes downloadable and older games. Only other game I'm gonna buy this year is Modern Warfare 2.

EDIT: Actually I'd probably fall into the 15-20 mark... but that isn't an option.

I collect retro games so I would say just over 25 a year I reckon. It depends if the year has been good also. I buy multiple copies of games too..

I'm not sure. New games? Like 10-15 per year. But just games in general? I probably buy like 25 per year.

I typically buy 2 or 3 a month so definitely more than 25.

I buy 10-15 games a year, I buy alot of games when it's really cheap on steam too. I get ps3 games occassionally even if it's not my main gaming platform.

1-5 full priced game but I guess I might buy more than that with xbox live arcade and the steam indie games.

With older games mixed in it turns into 200-300.

Over 25 per year, but the vast majority of those games were cheap downloadable games ($20 or less.)  If you're going with new releases, about 8-10 per year.

Brand new $60 games - 6 or 7 
Steam deals - 9 or 10

depends on the year really and if there are any deals on games i missed before..

Last year I bought over 25 games but this year I have definitely toned down. Right now i probably bought between 10-15 (including downloadable) and I will probably even that off to around 20 after the holidays.
