How to to get your girlfriend into gaming
I didn't watch the video because they were too lazy to type out "your" in the title card. Oh, and the to/2 shit.
Aside from that, though, my girlfriend is a gamer. I don't like using the term "girl gamer" however, because that suggests that somehow girls that play video games are different than guys that play video games. We're going to be playing through Persona 4 together once it comes in too, which should be pretty awesome. It'll be like our personal Endurance Run! Hah.
I always let my GF win in games, I make out like she has "raw talent" which is left uncultivated
My girl already plays Smash and AC, I don't think she will ever make the transition into something more hardcore.
Learn what kind of games your girlfriend would actually play, start simple, like perhaps a game that is turn based with no time limits so that they can understand the game and not feel rushed, also if they don't get a game try another one, and don't belittle them because they are not as l33t as you are at games.
At least that seems to have worked on my now wife who refused to play games when I first met her.
My girlfriend hates gaming so she probably won't even try to play. My best friend that is a girl bought a Wii after she played it at my house so I think that's a bit of an accomplishment.
Well i'm glad don't have this problem....
I actually got my friend up North hooked on video games when we where kids. She loved playing the original Final Fantasy on the NES and then we both started playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced.
The problem for most gamers is that this requires a girlfriend. Sorry for the same joke as everybody else, but you know it's true.

"REDRUN said:You guys are clueless....."Captain_Fookup said:And a gateway to her pants.""Get her a copy of Rapelay and Manhunt."Yes! those are awesome "gateway" games."
"Captain_Fookup said:I dated a bi-polar chick who orally pleasured me whilst playing manhunt :)"REDRUN said:You guys are clueless.....""Captain_Fookup said:And a gateway to her pants.""Get her a copy of Rapelay and Manhunt."Yes! those are awesome "gateway" games."
""Plant the seed?" You do NOT throw that sort of term around. Ever.Have to say, I had this problem with my last boyfriend. Whenever I wanted to play something, he'd think I'd love games more than him. What a ninny."I'm glad that's a non issue with me... He shares.
What worked for me is I knew my girlfriend likes art and like many girls cute things so, I also knew that she didn't like games that were too fast paced like shooters. So, I tried a few games and finally hit Fable 2 which she loves. Then tried Braid which she likes but she doesn't like the more complex levels. Tried Prince of Persia but it didn't take. Then I tried Little Big Planet and now that is her new thing. So my suggestion find games that appeals to her likes and not her dislikes. Not everything will work, but you know even hardcore gamers don't like every game.
