I need to play a good game really badly...
Ive been going to gamestop and buying and trading back in used games, from Fear 2 to Brothers in Arms Hell Highway. Its all so boring to me, I need a game that is actually excited. Does anyone have good suggestions?
Final Fantasy XIII. If you love mashing X (or A, as your preferences go) then you'll never get enough of it.
How much do you have to spend? If you're looking for something different you should try the new Alice game. It's also $40.
just look at this:
@Ahmad_Metallic: find me a video for the link...you wanna see a gameplay video ?
Mass Effect 2, games don't get much better than this. I never played it but Uncharted 2 also looks amazing.
I just finished playing Just Cause 2 for three hours today.
I made a motorcycle ride up a tree and explode.
My only complaint is that I can never get any ammo.
@quantumshift5:
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts is a good choice. Fantastic game. My personal favorite game of 2008, along with Brad.
Majin and the forsaken kingdom is a great game it might not be the dumb action game you want but if your looking for a good zelda game on the 360 then you cant go wrong with this one its also like 10 bucks for a new copy and it has a pretty decent lenght to it 15-20hrs
Just Cause 2 will pump your blood like it's never been pumped beforethis
just look at this:
As others have said, Dead Space 2 and Super Meat Boy are both fantastic games that will get your blood pumping in very different manners.
buy it from the black market? do you know how to do that or not?

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Just now finally getting to play it... and DAMN! A game hasn't got my attention like this in forever.

I know the game is supposed to be crazy with tons of shooting and action, but at the end of the day it's still a game. You need to work hard to get more money and better weapons and to afford having your entire arsenal of weapons loaded to the max before any fight
Some of my other favorites from this gen are MGS4, God of War III, Braid, Uncharted 2, Batman, Heavy Rain, and InFamous. And all the Assassin's Creeds, including the original.
And for the Wii (if you have one): Everything Nintendo makes inhouse, and No More Heroes. Okami if you didn't play it on the PS2.
Prince of Persia 2008. One of my favorite games of this generation, and criminally overlooked. The ending is amazing, an argument for how games can elicit emotion like no other medium.I agree with all of this except for the praise for the end of PoP 2008 (unless you're talking about the DLC end which I never saw). The only emotion that ending elicited from me was pure frustration as I was forced to control actions I completely disagreed with.

You should play it. If you're any kind of true gamer you owe it to yourself to charter uncharted 2 (bad pun intended) as your next game to stick on your chart.
