The stereotype (imo) is people only play DOA for the boobs.
I play DOA for the fighting. The fighting is exhilarating and super fast paced, which is exactly how I like it. the counter system is fantastic, which is one of the reasons why it makes it my favorite fighting series. I, however do enjoy some fan service now and then.
All the parkour stuff on roof tops fused with the action packed bullet time mayhem of F.E.A.R. It would be fucking awesome. And would revive my interest in playing competitively online.
I've been missing that extra element of perfecting your movement being as integral a part as learning how to aim that was prominent in games like the Quake series, only in those games all the strafe jumping and crazy ass stuff people did were essentially glitches that people learned to exploit.
While playing Mirror's Edge I realized that a true first person shooter designed around moving like a badass would totally rock my balls. Of course we'll never see it because the controls would be way too complex for the average 12 year old Xbox live shithead and would only really work on the PC and that doesn't sell anymore.
