If you only got to base your gaming hardware decision on hardware itself and not the games coming to each console, which console would you choose?

Based on hardware, huh?! PS3 . Also, you could have made the title waaaaaaay shorter like this: "Based on hardware alone, which console would you buy?"

On hardware there is no answer other than PS3...
 
On sheer awesomeness, variety of games and general fun factor, X360 wins no challenge either

i choose the Playstation 3 because it is pretty awesome in the hardware/media department.
