Laugh out loud, god dammit!
Enjoy never owning the hardware or the games. Enjoy having to pay a monthly free. Enjoy lag and down times. Enjoy having to pay to rent PC games (LMAO).....
Have fun.
"AnimZero said:Now all we need is to be able to come to these topics and always have to put up with your imbocile threads, you know, the biggest hassle of using the internet"OnLive is *not* PC gaming."It will let you play all those great PC games. And not have to always upgrade you know all the big hassles of PC gaming."
"AnimZero said:Can you play mods? Can you freely tweak and fine tune features of games via .ini files (for example, removing the outer borders of Fallout 3 and Oblivion) and the like to make the game more open? Can you edit, create, and share maps and custom models with others? Where is the user generated content? How much does OnLive cost? Is it seriously more affordable than tossing a $130 video card in your average dual-or-quad-core desktop system? Because it sounds like it'd be just as effective, less so with a mediocre internet connection."OnLive is *not* PC gaming."It will let you play all those great PC games. And not have to always upgrade you know all the big hassles of PC gaming."
Edit: I'll even add more reasons this entire concept is bullshit. How can we seriously depend on them being able to maintain maximum speed with a giant cloud of computers? There would have to be constant, long periods of maintenance to defragment and update the drivers of these systems. Not only that, but there will surely be a long queue to use this service, as if it takes off there'll be loads of people trying to connect to a limited supply of computers.
