The title mostly says it all. Except I noticed that when I started my account, it shows that I'm aligned with Microsoft. I thought when you start an account it would automatically set you as neutral.
You are asked to pick an alignment upon registration, aren't you? Or am I remembering wrong? Either way, it's not like anyone makes a big deal out of what color your name is.
One can enter this covenant by speaking to the followers of Gwyn, Lord of sunlight, while high in humanity. Players who choose Way of the White come closer to each other on the network, simultaneously increasing the likelihood of a miracle resonance and decreasing the likelihood of hostile world invasions.
Blade of the Darkmoon
A pact with Gwyn himself, who wishes to acquire all the other Lords' souls so that he can craft the future he desires. Players who enter this covenant are tasked with hunting down players who have broken covenants, and given a ring that allows them to invade without notifying the victim.
Princess' Guard
A pact with Gwynevere, daughter of Gwyn, who wishes for players to help thwart her father's plans for the future by destroying him and obtaining his soul. Players who enter this covenant are given the Lordvessel, an object that permits warping between bonfires.
Warrior of Sunlight
A pact involving "Solaire of Astoria". A high faith stat is required for this.
Forest Hunter
A pact with Alvina, a giant cat. Players who enter this covenant are given a white pearl ring. Alvina uses this to send them into the worlds of players entering her forest, who they must then kill. One of the rewards for honouring this pact is a ring that renders the wearer transparent, making him harder to detect. One breaks the pact by killing any creature of the forest, or letting the giant wolf boss get away with his life.
Chaos Servant
A pact with the Izalith witch, granting players powerful fire spells. One breaks the covenant by hurting the witch or any of her chaos daughters. Pact-breakers are punished with a large egg that attaches to/replaces their heads and leaves them very vulnerable to fire. The egg steals a portion of all souls the wearer acquires, and eventually hatches into a bizarre pod containing a larva. The wearer's kick move is then replaced by an attack in which this head-larva emerges from its pod to strike enemies.
Gravelord Servant
A pact with Nito, Lord of the dead, that can only be entered when in an undead state. Grants the Gravelord spell, as well as a variety of poisonous, disease-spreading equipment and magic. Honouring this covenant will eventuelly lead to becoming a Lich.
Path of the Dragon
A pact with Seath the Scaleless. One honours this pact by collecting dragon scales, which can be acquired either by defeating certain enemies, or by invading the worlds of players with such scales, killing them and taking theirs. As a player collects scales for Seath, their body becomes more and more like that of a dragon, and they gain the ability to breathe fire.
Dark Wraith
A pact with an absolute darkness that wishes to consume the world. Players who enter this covenant are given the Dark Hand, a piece of equipment allowing them to steal other players' humanity. The rewards for honouring this pact include the Red Eye Orb, the Dark Sword and the Dark Armor.
