So despite following 95% of all the video content these guys have put out for the last 10 years of my life I have only ever listened to a few bombcasts.

However I plan to change that and listen from episode 1 starting today.

Am I nuts?

Nope. Even though I've been a regular listener for a while now, I'm still going back and working through the back catalog starting from the beginning. I'm up to around spring 2009 at this point.

There's a lot of great stuff in those old casts, even if the game discussion is obviously a bit dated. Still worth it!

I think I'm entirely current on them unless I missed a stray one here or there, but I had just decided to start again from the beginning on the first. I feel I have a reason outside of listless boredom now though.

Absolutely not. I am going to do the same. In the past I listened to every old episode of the Hotspot while I was playing through Saints Row (1) and Crackdown. It is a great way to relax during the lazy days of summer. I am thinking of starting with all the old Hotspots and then going through all the all Bombcasts.

Apparently it is tough to get the old episodes of the Hotspot, but I have all of them on an old external HDD luckily.

Since I came to this site I've had jobs where I can use headphones all day, so I've listened to all of the Bombcast twice now.

The old ones are still great to listen to. I started listening them from the beginning last year and caught up to the present easily since they are so entertaining to listen to. If you have the time, do it.

I've listened to them all through at least 3 times now, usually when I've finished the latest Bombcast and I've got nothing else to listen to I'll go back and start again, listening to Ryan and Jeff talk about Gatorade Tiger over Skype. Enjoy them ;)

You should hook your community up, how big is the archive anyway?

I'm doing this too. I've only made it to 4-1-08, so I'm still really early. Definitely making me feel better.

It's not that tough, they're still archived on Gamespot, starting with episode 1 (07/20/05)

...they talk about Hot Coffee.

Thanks, I thought that had been taken down for some reason.

Oddly enough I've just been playing through San Andreas for the first time.

I've been listening to the Bombcast for 2 or so years now. I just recently decided to go back and listen to a bunch of older ones, this week convinced me to do them all in sequence. So no, you're not crazy, well, at least you're not alone.

Via my Last.fm, which has been tracking my listening habits since February of 2009:

No Caption Provided

That is over 100 days of Bombcasts, not including bombcasts I listened to on iTunes on my PC at home (I scrobble from my pc at work).

Go for it. I've listened to every single Bombcast (helps that I've been following them since the beginning), but I revisit random Bombcasts on a daily basis. It's practically endless entertainment!

Already been downloading and listening to them as well since Monday, it's kinda difficult to hear Ryan, but I'm enjoying them. Be sure you don't forget the Downward Pointing Arrow episodes as well.

took me around a year using the commute to and from work to get through all of them and catch up so its not that hard. I rarely go back to old ones as I have moved on to 8-4 and smodcast podcasting to fill the gap. Maybe il go through hotspot at some point

There are definitely a few on the spot episodes missing that I'd like to rewatch, you wouldn't happen to have any of those?

While on a podcast spree you should listen to the newest Comedy Bang Bang (here) and go the the 12:30 mark for some mildly entertaining Giant Bomb related content. You should also listen to the whole thing since it is funny.
