What could they possibly do to make it any better? Modern Warfare lacked the longevity of World War 2 (nothing beats the feel of a Kar98) and nobody has any confidence whatsoever in World at War. That's a lie, some crazy people still do :-). Still, I don't know what Activision is up to, but it's something very, very stupid.
^ yea, like Halo 3 has 7 maps so far, 4 of which are free (the others will most likely get free) and then theres a new map releasing with a rumored 6 maps. Then they add new content daily. The hinted at update thingy with a mapmaker and the cool stuff. The confirmed update with new skulls and whatnot. COD4 will be dead whenCOD5 comes out

Are you serious. My other gaming friends who only have bit of gaming knowledge have preordered this game just for the fact it is the Call Of Duty series.

Quiet with you and your Halo love. They already crushed the map maker thing (too complicated for Bungie to code) and CoD2 still has a sizeable community. You know not what you speak of. I don't even like CoD4 much anymore, but that post was just ignorant.
Thats nothing new from him, has to put halo on the biggest pedestal in every post no matter what the topic while insulting any other shooter, nothing new here. Anyway..is this really news to people? I thought everyone had realized it was yearly now..and they would obviously release another in 09, then treyarch probably release another in 2010..and so on. I'm totally not into the whole thing..but it seems there's no stopping it.
